Note: Any prior rating results are based on the final nationals. Since the level of DVR penetration has increased from 20 percent at this same point last year to approximately 28 percent at present, the overall results may be negatively impacted.

-Friday’s Winners: Nothing
-Friday’s Losers (excluding repeats): The Chopping Block (NBC), Surviving Suburbia (ABC), The Goode Family (ABC)
----------
-Ratings Breakdown: There was a three-way split for leadership on this third Friday in June, with CBS the most-watched network and NBC and Fox tied for first among adults 18-49. But what can you say when the top-rated network averages under five million viewers and a 1.0 rating in the demo? Not much!
CBS was in all repeats, with its combination of Ghost Whisperer (Viewers: #1, 4.70 million; A18-49: #2, 1.0/ 4), Flashpoint (Viewers: #2, 4.82 million; A18-49: #2, 1.0/ 4) and Numb3rs (Viewers: #2, 4.94 million; A18-49: #2t, 1.0/ 3). Failed NBC reality/competition The Chopping Block returned to burn-off its final episodes, with a mere 1.94 million viewers (#4) and a 0.6/ 2 (#3t) among adults 18-49 at 8 p.m. That led into a two-hour edition of Dateline at 5.45 million viewers and a 1.3/ 5 among adults 18-49 from 9-11 p.m. Take a look at the half-hour breakdown:
Fox also aired an all repeat night, with its combination of game show Don’t Forget the Lyrics (Viewers: #2, 3.63 million; A18-49: #1, 1.1/ 5) and drama Mental (Viewers: #3, 2.67 million; A18-49: #3, 0.8/ 3). ABC opened the evening with original episodes of failed comedies Surviving Suburbia (Viewers: #3, 2.59 million; A18-49: #3t, 0.6/ 3) and animated The Goode Family (Viewers: #4, 1.59 million; A18-49: #4, 0.5/ 2) from 8-9 p.m., followed by back-to-back repeats of canceled Samantha Who? (Viewers: #4, avg. 1.86; A18-49: #4, avg. 0.6/ 2 from 9-10 p.m.) and veteran 20/20 (Viewers: #3, 4.18 million; A18-49: #3, #2t, 1.0/3) from 9-11 p.m. Samantha Who? was never anything without the support of Dancing With the Stars.
Last were repeats of The CW’s Privileged (Viewers: 1.17 million; A18-49: 0.4/ 2), Everybody Hates Chris (Viewers: 1.17 million; A18-49: 0.4/ 1) and The Game (Viewers: 1.43 million; A18-49: 0.5/ 2).
To whet your appetite for next fall, here is the upcoming Friday line-up:
ABC 8:00 p.m. Supernanny (new time) 9:00 p.m. Ugly Betty (new day and time) 10:00 p.m. 20/20
CBS 8:00 p.m. Ghost Whisperer 9:00 p.m. Medium (new network, new day and time) 10:00 p.m. Numbr3s
NBC 8:00 p.m. Law & Order (new day and time) 9:00 p.m. Southland (new day and time) 10:00 p.m. The Jay Leno Show (new)
Fox 8:00 p.m. Brothers (new) 8:30 p.m. ‘Til Death (return) 9:00 p.m. Dollhouse
The CW 8:00 p.m. Smallville (new day) 9:00 p.m. America’s Next Top Model (R)
NBC really shouldn't be airing The Chopping Block on Fridays. Instead, they should be doing repeats of L&O Fridays at 8 PM. It would rate higher than the burnoff and it would get the audience used to the new timeslot.
failed comedies Surviving Suburbia (Viewers: #3, 2.59 million; A18-49: #3t, 0.6/ 3) and animated The Goode Family (Viewers: #4, 1.59 million; A18-49: #4, 0.5/ 2) from 8-9 p.m.
While those numbers are TERRIBLE, they are up from last week IIRC.

Wow! I really can't believe how low the numbers are going this summer. I mean, The Game was just a hairsbreadth away from beating Samantha Who? What is going on?
BTW, Don't Forget the Lyrics was the season finale last night, not a repeat.
Those ABC numbers still seem to be unnaturally low, and they've been trending so ever since the DTV changeover.
Taken as a group, the top seven networks have seen dramatic fall-offs from last year ever since the DTV came along. By my count, there are millions of households, viewers and A18-49s beyond the 2.2 million non-DTV ready homes (about 2% of the household universe) that are not being counted. The fall-off amongst A18-49s is especially alarming.
How come none of the networks are taking issue with Nielsen over this problem? If these trends continue uncorrected into fall, the new bar for hit series will be those that can surpass 1.0 in A18-49!
failed comedies Surviving Suburbia (Viewers: #3, 2.59 million; A18-49: #3t, 0.6/ 3) and animated The Goode Family (Viewers: #4, 1.59 million; A18-49: #4, 0.5/ 2) from 8-9 p.m.

Not really. The demos are the same compared to last weeks FAST Nationals, and 'Surviving Suburbia' went down in viewers by 28,000 while 'The Goode Family' went up in viewers by 23,000: - Surviving Suburbia Viewers: #4, 2.87 million; A18-49: #4, 0.6/3 - The Goode Family (Viewers: #4, 1.82 million; A18-49: #4, 0.5/ 2
'The Goode Family' is likely to drop further from that number. My rat-bastard local ABC affiliate substituted a cooking device infommercial for 'The Goode Family', and I had to watch it online.
Helene Goode checks with her neighbours to see whether they've also had a hard time picking up ABC ever since this damned DTV changeover
failed comedies Surviving Suburbia (Viewers: #3, 2.59 million; A18-49: #3t, 0.6/ 3) and animated The Goode Family (Viewers: #4, 1.59 million; A18-49: #4, 0.5/ 2) from 8-9 p.m.

They are down from last weeks fast nationals, but up from last weeks finals.

So how many of you will be watching Eli Stone tonight? The final episodes are brilliant! Eli fans are in for a treat . I wish ABC had let it continue and give it a proper ending.

I plan on watching them. It's too bad the show didn't catch on with the audience.
Yeah, last night's Lyrics was the season finale. Next week is the Virtuality pilot/movie, whatever, and the week after that is the return of 5th Grader.
Too bad about Surviving Surburbia. Last night's episode was good again. This show has so much potential. I wish ABC would have left it on Wednesday nights a little longer. Pulling it after 1 week, even with terrible ratings, seemed a little erratic to me.
I really wish The CW would have picked "Privileged" up for a 2nd season. Sure, ratings wise the show was nothing but after a rough patch in the beginning the show really formed into something promising. I think going into that quality with a second season would have saw an increase in viewership.
I think Bob Saget is just awful on Surviving Suburbia. Last night was the first time I had watched it, and he was trying too hard to be the "blow-hard" father. We get it, you're not Danny Tanner anymore. Try not to prove it to us so hard!

That was the running gag in the episode-lol. I don't think he's like that in all in other episodes. The episode was about him taking charge, which is probably what you saw.

Perhaps The CW should have renewed Privileged. For repeats on a Friday, it didnt do all that bad. The Game didnt do all that bad either; 1.43 million is pretty good for a repeat on a Friday for The CW.
