ABC needs help and one show won't cut it. The network can't survive on DWTS. It at least needs Desperate Housewives back, it's #1 scripted show.
Not being a LOST fan and being a big CSI fan, I fully expect LOST to win every week against CSI. But CSI will still hold strong with its repeats.
Lost will certainly win each week. Moving back to 9pm, and with CSI in repeats, things are looking good. Hopefully it'll be able to achieve Greys/Desperate Housewives numbers again.
I expect it'll average around 15 mil this season though.

Grey's Anatomy is still their #1 scripted show for the season.

I think they're very close.. maybe DH with 7.3 in the demo and Grey's with 7.4

CSI: NY nearly always beat Lost when they were both new, and repeats of CSI get more viewers than original episodes of NY were getting last Spring. I think CSI repeats can beat new episodes of Lost unless Lost gets a significant jump in viewers.

Of course Chuck's numbers went down. They randomly put the 2 unaired episodes on a night it has never been on before without first airing repeats or really hyping it up, and last night is what was bound to happen.
Every single person who makes decisions for NBC needs to be fired and replaced with someone else with creativity and intelligence.
The sad thing is, that NBC being as pathetic as they are, they might take the numbers from last night at face value without realizing they are to blame for the numbers and cancel the show..
Why blame NBC? Why not blame the stupid fans who kept going, "Put it on Thursday! Put it on Thursday! Kick '30 Rock' off Thursday! Put it there! Put it there!" If the numbers were bad, serves them right.
-- "Better Off Ted," Wednesdays at some time or another at some point or another in the near future. Because we can't all live in mansions and not ever work like the people on "Modern Family."

I disagree. The fact that NBC tried this Thursday night experiment seems to me to be a clear indication that they have already decided to renew Chuck for next year and have now moved on to the phase of deciding what timeslot it should air in next fall.
Unfortunately, I think there are more execs at NBC than fans of Chuck...

So, its the fans fault that randomly the show gets put on thursday night (not back-to-back) without ever telling the fans?
There was never 1 repeat aired on thursdays, there were no promos that I heard about it, nothing. If I didnt like the show, and actually go out and find out when the episodes were on, I would have had no clue they aired yesterday.
So, like is always the key for any show, people have to know when the show is going to be on, and I really dont think people knew Chuck was on last night...
It's amaazing how well CBS repeats. Come one, CSI:, Two and a Half men, Without a Trace..those are the 3 on the top of my mind, are only a few million below a normal telecast level.
CBS could probably go a whole year or even more with the strike. Just air some CSI:'s and Two and a Half Men's, and throw in NCIS's, with Survivor and Big Brother and they're fine.

I just checked the numbers TV-aholic compiles here and DH has a 7.25 demo rating for 10 new episodes. GA has a 7.5 demo rating for 11 new episodes. GA would have a 7.75 demo average if not for the Thanksgiving episode. In viewers, DH leads by 18.88 to 18.45, but again, the small lead is due to GA airing on Thanksgiving. Indeed, a close race.

CBS's state will largely be determined by Big Brother. If that show blows three nights a week, CBS will be hurting. If that show performs as well or better in season as in summer, then CBS will be just fine.
The problem with Chuck is NBC has no clue where to put it. It doesn't match well with anything else they have in their lineup. And it won't be on Thursdays again. It bombed in the ratings.
