This week's episode was sooooo boring. Maybe that's why
People can't know that it will be boring before watching it. The half hour drop in viewers might shed some light on the answer if that half hour drop was larger than it usually is for Supernatural.
With the news about the writers and producers going back to the table after the holiday, do you see light at the end of the tunnel...or is it just a train?
I don't know personally- I heard they were close when they broke talks off because they wouldn't stop the clock, but with all the bad blood, plus the fact that I doubt the nets have reached the point of diminishing returns yet (where the savings of having the writers out is less than the costs of having them out)...They may try for a bit, but if you don't hear anything quickly about a possible settlement once the talks resume (like withing a week or so),I think it's going to be a long winter....

There you go
New Shows - Demo
1 Samantha Who 4.6 ABC 2 Private Practice 4.5 ABC 3 Big Shots 3.7 ABC 4 Big Bang Theory 3.6 CBS 5 Bionic Woman 3.6 NBC 6 Pushing Daisies 3.4 ABC 7 Dirty Sexy Money 3.2 ABC
Is it possible the average may be Live+7? Variety in an article stated SW? average was 4.7
That would be nice. They would just air repeats through mid to late January and then new stuff would be back before Feb. sweeps.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised...if they had the questionable judgment to greenlight this as a series after seeing the pilot then hey why not throw more good money after bad for a back nine that may never materialize.
The show has improved immensly since the pilot. The storylines are now clicking and the characters have really been developed into people with backbones. I'm glad to see it get the extension.

You really thought it was boring? With all the gore, decapitations, and that freaking awesome fight scene at the end? I thought it was the best episode of the season so far. Just my opinion though

I also thought this episode was the best one of this season. There have been a few episodes which I found lacking in one way or another, but this one hit the nail right on the head. The momentum is continuing to build, with the plot, storyline, direction, and character development. I think it will only get better from here on out.
I thought Betty is was pretty good Thursday Night. The last 2 episodes reminded me last season. I judge a show on how many times it surprises me. Betty has been surprising me the last couple of episodes.
30 Rock was soooo funny! I don't really watch the show, but I couldn't stop laughing Thursday night.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my DVR and I save 30 Rock to watch a few times. Very funny.
I started to watch The Office too. I thought this episode was good- but I didn't understand a lot of it- because I've missed a lot of episodes.
btw- I just don't see what is so great about Samantha Who? I guess it's Christina Applegate.

Actually, Fresh Blood was far from boring, it was as close as the original Supernatural that this season has had so far. Fresh Blood was awesome. Now, if you're getting it mixed up with last week's Red Sky at Morning, then yeah, that one sucked the big one. But hey, even a bad SN episode is better than most shows on tv right now.
