So Moonlight is edging up on WMC in the households and wins the demo again. Love this show so I am glad it is doing better. Still a slight "V" pattern w/ the CBS lineup but they finally have a demo winner.
I think the still-growing Moonlight is here to stay. It joins BBT and Kitchen Nightmares as the only three big-four newbs to beat the demo rating of its series premiere. Numbers cracks 10 mil, which is a rarity this year.
Club with a season-low in demo, despite getting post-Grey's sampling? Not a good thing, though the viewer number remains strong, and above what it pulled post-Grey's.
Decent showing for FNL in the demo, as well. Who'd have thunk it'd outdo Vegas in the demo, ever? But that may be in part because of an extremely strong DOND. Good news for NBC, since Deal is coming back in full force in the next few weeks.
Lyrics down from its strong Friday debut, but still a considerably better option than Band, and comparable to what 5th Grader did on Friday.

Some thoughts: It looks like Moonshite has finally gotten into respectable territory. If it can get to Ghost Whisperer levels, it may not end up being CBS's final cancellation for new stuff. The key is that it has to keep momentum going without new eps in a few weeks. WMC was down but it still won in total viewers so it remains a winner. Men in Trees is still disappointing but at least it had week to week growth. Kudos to Don't Forget the Lyrics for growing out of the pathetic American Band lead in. FNL continues to lose viewers as the night went on and what's up with Las Vegas? Are fans not happy with storylines? It seems to have lost viewers instead of gained them as the season went on.
im still a little tepid on Moonlight but i think it still will not be renewed, even in winning demo, just look at C2H. Numbers is donig phenonminal in viewers, happy about that.
Deal or No Deal is NBC's only chance at success now, its like the top viewership show which is sad, FNL need to go.. I really dont understand whats wrong with NBC as of this year but all of there shows just arent cutting it. bring back like will and grace or friends or something. they need a completeee turn around
Men in trees seems to be steady, probably gonig to be renewed next year. WMC will be renewed but im disappointed with its decline in viewership as of this week. Its a realy good show.
FOX needs to get ride of TNGAB!. its very very bad haha.

Lowest ratings yet (pending finals). I wonder, Is WMC bleeding viewers or did some of them not know that this episode was going to be different than the one aired Thursday?
Moonlight will be renewed, because everything on the broadcast nets is down this year. Just look at Numb3rs, which is not doing phenomenally compared to previous years.
ABC Maintains Tiny 0.1 Lead in A18-49 After 16 Days of the 2007 November Sweep:
After the first 16 days of the November Sweep, ABC continues to maintain the tiniest of leads in the young adult demo with a first place 3.6 A18-49 average. CBS is second with an average 3.5 in A18-49, while NBC is close behind in third place with a 3.2 average in A18-49 and FOX is just behind the Peacock with a 3.0 A18-49 average. The CW is in fifth with a 1.2 in A18-49 with MyNetworkTV bringing up the rear with its 0.4 in A18-49.
In households and viewership, CBS has a comfortable lead over ABC with NBC in third, FOX fourth, The CW trailing in fifth and MyNetworkTV (now averaging more than 1 million viewers) bringing up the rear in sixth.
On a year-over-year basis, FOX and MyNetworkTV are the only networks showing year-over-year improvement. The other four networks are mostly down, with year-over-year losses ranging from single digit to double digit percentage declines of young adult demo, households and viewers.

I'd say Moonlight has a decent shot at renewal. It's winning its slot in the demo by a pretty good margin. In fact, ML is widening its margin over WMC in the demo, while the viewer lead of WMC seems to be staying about even. ML will never be a hit, but with ML, GW and Numb3rs CBS has a very consistent demo on Fridays.
Of course if CBS renews ML, I'm thinking one of the more veteran shows might see the axe. Cane will open one drama slot but I have to think CBs will need more to launch new dramas next year. I think there is a chance that Shark or the Unit could be cancelled at the end of the year. Both of those shows barely out do ML in the demo on better nights. I guess we will see.
