-Adults 18-49: Fox: 1.4 rating/6 share, CBS and NBC: 0.8/ 3 each, ABC: 0.6/ 2
----------
Note: Any prior rating results are based on the final nationals. Since the level of DVR penetration has increased from 20 percent at this same point last year to approximately 28 percent at present, the overall results may be negatively impacted.
----------
-Saturday’s Winners: Nothing
-Saturday’s Losers (excluding repeats): Kings (NBC), Harper’s Island (CBS), Eli Stone (ABC) and the night overall
----------
-Ratings Breakdown: It was a night of shared leadership on this typically low-rated Saturday, with CBS the most-watched network (at just 4.16 million viewers) and the home of Cops and America’s Most Wanted, Fox, first among adults 18-49. Two repeat episodes of Cops averaged 3.67 million viewers (#2) and a first-place 1.3 rating/6 share among adults 18-49 from 8-9 p.m., followed by America’s Most Wanted at 4.38 million viewers and a 1.4/ 6 in the demo -- first in both categories. CBS aired a repeat of Without a Trace (Viewers: #1, 3.89 million; A18-49: #3, 0.5/ 2), another burn-off episode of Harper’s Island (Viewers: #3, 3.53 million; A18-49: #2, 0.8/ 3), and a repeat of 48 Hours Mystery (Viewers: #2, 5.05 million; A18-49: #2, 1.1/ 4). Depressing, I know.
Elsewhere, NBC opened the evening with another burn-off installment of Kings (Viewers: #4, 1.54 million; A18-49: 4, 0.4/ 2 at 8 p.m.), followed by repeats of Law & Order (Viewers: #2, 4.27 million; A18-49: #3, 0.7/ 3) and Law & Order: SVU (Viewers: #1, 5.30 million; A18-49: #1, 1.2/ 4) from 9-11 p.m. ABC aired encore telecasts of Wipeout (Viewers: #3, 2.79 million; A18-49: #2, 0.8/ 4) and Castle (Viewers: #4, 2.59 million; A18-49: #4, 0.5/ 2) from 8-10 p.m., followed by canceled Eli Stone a mere (and last-place) 2.69 million viewers and a 0.5/ 2 in the demo.
I wonder how the 2-hour finale of Harper's Island will do in 2 weeks. CBS is airing a repeat of it next week - I'm afraid to see how low that will go, especially being 4th of July.

Not really much else to say
Maybe it will go back up to 4 million since people want to see who the other killer is.

I bet the final hour will go back up to 4 million. I really think the whole show has turned into a mess though, especially with these last 2 episodes. We already know that Wakefield is still alive, so the mystery's really gone. Now we're just watching to see who dies.
I think HI will go up a little bit in the ratings because those who have watched will probably want to see who the killer was.
Other than that, 4 and 5 million for L&O and L&O: SVU repeats are pretty decent, especially considering that L&O did around 8 million for an original this year. Saturdays are still going to be dead in the fall, but it will be interesting to see if Dateline can do better than Cops at 8 PM. I think that it has a real shot, especially since Cops has been steadily declining.

Isnt there another killer as well?

I don't think there is. We already know that Wakefield is the killer, I don't think there's another one. From now on, all we have to find out is who will be the ones that don't get killed. Like I said, the mystery is pretty much gone.

With Leno cheapening the 10pm hour 5 nights a week one would think NBC could come up with the cash for an original 2 hour Dateline each Saturday into their SVU encores. I would like to see NBC bring back Most Outrageous Moments to help fill Saturday too.
Less than six days remain to submit your predictions in the 2009 July Sweep Prediction Game.
This year, the July Sweep runs from Thursday July 2nd to Wednesday July 29th, and we have the second annual July Sweep Prediction Game. Everyone who is a registered member of pifeedback.com is eligible to play the game. All are welcome.
Who will reign supreme in July? All the networks are suffering from a fall-off in viewers this summer, perhaps caused by the DTV switchover, or by aggressive programming from the cablers. The networks have added lots of fresh programming for the July Sweep in an effort to stem the viewer tide. Just look at the 3-million viewer fall-off over the past three July Sweeps:
web ABC CBS FOX NBC UNI MNT CW 0.000
2008 4.641 6.366 5.723 5.541 3.334 0.980 1.523 28.108
%+/- 1% 0% 0% -2% 10% -2% -22% -1%
2007 4.613 6.342 5.721 5.639 3.040 0.997 1.942 28.294
%+/- -8% -10% -1% -11% -2% -51% 6% -9%
web ABC CBS FOX NBC UNI UPN WB 0.000
2006 5.007 7.080 5.765 6.326 3.112 2.030 1.839 31.159
So now it's your turn to predict the outcome of the 2009 July Sweep...all you have to do is predict the top six English-language broadcasters and Univision (the top Spanish-language broadcaster).
Will a re-surgent, originals-laden NBC come from behind and move ahead of FOX, who have won the past four July Sweeps in A18-49 demo?
Will ABC be able to get its post-DTV, post-NBA ratings back on track?
Will The CW be able to beat out ION and TeleFutura in the three-way battle 8th place?
Will CBS be able to climb out of fourth place in A18-49s, where it remains the network watched by a loyal cadre of less-valuable-to-advertisers 50+ viewers.
Just go to the following link below and submit your entry.
Good luck to all contestants who enter. Good luck to the networks and their web of affiliates across the country who are in the fight of their life against the incursions of cable into their viewer base.
Thank you,
Dumont Sweepmaster May 2008 dumont
The deadline for final entries will be 8:00 AM on Friday July 3rd just before the very first overnight metered market reports are being relayed across the country.

If you go back to the beginning, Cousin Ben was tied to the bottom of the boat. Since Wakefield has been on the island (or so we think) the whole time, wouldnt somebody else have to tie the cousin up? I still think there may be another killer.

Never thought about that. There definitely could be another killer. Who could it be though? My guess would be Henry - something still seems mysterious about him. I think from now on, though, the storyline will be whether or not Abby gets killed.

I guess you didn't watch this episode, but it seems like there is another killer indeed.
