Plus I think WMC can get ratings where ever it is, it's one of very few shows (if any!) that actually hasn't lost any viewers since the writers strike! In fact it's gained some! I'm not giving up hope on this show yet and neither should ABC!!

Bones is another one.

Yup, that's what I use Tuesdays for.

WMC pulls 8 million without any lead-in so the renwal should be based on that not on the retention

I agree, Abc did another stupid thing when they took WMC off Friday at 9, where by the way was doing really good. And put it on another night and put Duel in its place and that show has not even hit 4 million viewers yet.

Mark: I would argue that they're not all that compatible - DWTS and WMC- yes, they probably both skew female, but generally the crowd that would watch DWTS probably isn't all that interested in the procedural. On the other hand, after 20/20 or whatever WMC followed on Friday, well it's a mindset.

Besides, I don't think there was a chance in Hades that WMC was going to stick in the Tuesday 10PM slot. It's kept its numbers and even topped 2.0 in the demos. I think it would be foolish to send the show off to the great unknown d stick with a much lower rated show like Eli Stone.

Yeah I can see that but has anything held onto that lead-in on ABC? Boston Legal didn't hold it either! It's looking like it's between Eli, Boston Legal & WMC for pick up and as Shawn says it has more of a chance of growth being a procedural! I think out of those three shows WMC should be the one to give another chance! JMO though!

I'd much rather see Eli or Boston Legal. At least they had some critcal acclaim. WMC will implode like GA in the long run. Eli was starting to grow on me by the end of its run, like Life; I hope it returns.

WOMAN's MURDER CLUB I actully think should be renewed but held as a mid-season replacement for any show ABC might cancel over the traditional Decmber break of new programming.

Hey anyone know when the CBS UPFRONT will be?
I'm dying to know if they will finally do the right thing and greenlight TWO AMAZING RACES-one for fall and the other for spring!

Any shows on cable stand out as destinations or is it just one big watered down universe?

BTW, any final numbers for Sunday, Dexter? Douglas/TV-aholic need the two hours separately since it was two different episodes.

Another question: do the TV sets in use count TVs being used to watch DVD/VCR or TVs being used for video games?

That's actually what I'm hopeful for - a 13 ep order for mid-season or whenever. A second chance.

FOX Firm in First in A18-49, CBS Tops in HUT & Viewers After 13 Days of 2008 May Sweep

After 13 days of the 2008 May Sweep, FOX widened its A18-49 demo lead over second place ABC to 0.41 with CBS in third and NBC averaging a 1.95, which due to the kindness of rounding, puts them back up in the 2’s. Meanwhile, CBS continues to be the most popular network in households and viewership with ABC in second, FOX following in third and poor NBC out of the picture.

With the exception of MyNetworkTV, all the networks are down year-over-year in A18-49 demo, HUT and viewership, although FOX declines are in the single digit. Based on the first 12 days of numbers, MyNetworkTV is showing impressive year-over-year gains: up 35% in A18-49, up 30% in households and up 36% in viewers. Whereas a year ago, MNT was at about one-third of CW levels, this May it is trending in the one-half range.

Yeah WMC would work as a mid season replacement, and ABC could surely go no wrong with that? Having a show that will get 8 million just waiting in the wings! Guess we'll see, when do ABC announce their 08/09 schedule anyway?

The unit performed better up against AI and much higher rated House than Shark did past 2 weeks. 18/49 35-40% higher and viewers higher up against stronger competition

NBC already renewed Life. As for ABC, they should try to keep at least one show that has some value in repeats and WMC is the best choice for that.
