Having "Hank" cancelled kind of leaves an awkward hole... it means one of the 3 half-hour shows will need to be moved to another night, if they want to fill the 8pm slot with a 1-hour show like "Ugly Betty" or DWTS.

True, but wasn't the show itself kind of an awkward hole?

When your implying that people who'll miss Dollhouse don't have lives your not talking just talking about a canceled TV show. You're insulting them. You know it. Don't be a jerk. That's it.

Anybody who is just kinda bummed about Dollhouse being canceled can exempt him or herself from my remarks.

Everybody who thinks this is a major cultural tragedy that marks the decline and fall of great scripted TV--sorry, my comments hold. And anybody who felt in any way exalted by this misogynistic little muddle of a show is in no position to call anybody else a jerk.

But that doesn't mean they can't say whatever they want to.

As I will.

Jerk.

I never said 'secret'--it's pretty blatant. And as for me being the only person--geez, TVfanatic. Is posting on this forum all the websurfing you ever do? Big Grin

Anyway, TVfanatic, I fixed the post in question--sorry about the slip.

And yes, posting here probably is all the websurfing tv-aholic ever does. I mean, I sure hope so.

Looks like Fox had planned "the Dollhouse" cancellation for a while- they also announced a new Mark Burnett gameshow called "My Little Genius" today, so I suspect this will be the timeslot replacement:

http://thefutoncritic.com/news.aspx?id=20091111fox02

Basically, it's reverse 5th Grader- 6 to 12 year-old child geniuses answer difficult questions in their field of expertise, but the parents (who are of average intelligence) have to make the decisions to stop or go on.

I think we could have a redo of Fox's "Game Night" on Fridays again, with this and "The Cube"..

It would be a great move if FOX did recreate a gameshow night on Fridays. It was the only thing that really worked for them. Although, I have to wonder again why FOX gave up Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader to MNTV. It would have fit right in.
