I honestly think you are the only person in America that has the conspiracy theory that V is a secret, right wing attack on the Obama Administration.
I have watched both episodes and have seen noting relating to current politics, good or bad.

Seriously--dude--the script comes across as written by Glenn Beck--only not nearly as much fun.
Well I don't think they do compare to each other. I just felt the story did a nice job of tying in current events to help make the near worshiping of the V's by the people more realistic. Pisher brought in the whole Obama aspect, which in reality, health care is an American issue, not an Obama issue.

Since when has Obama been a V? Wait, so you're really Glenn Beck? Oh that explains everything!

well it did stay above 3 in the demo ABC’s V was still on the map, finishing second at 8 p.m. behind CBS’ aforementioned NCIS with 10.56 million viewers and a 3.7/10 in the demo
Originally, NBC had scheduled 100 Questions, a comedy, after TBL. I think it could work as long as TBL isn't an isolated audience that just watches that and turns off the TV afterwards. Regardless, it is definately worth the attempt since it is NBC's largest lead in.

Oh crap, I meant to type in a 4.
It was still on the map but it dropped almost 30% in the demo.
That doesn't mean anything. Several programs will be below that and have been below that in the past and will make it to another season.
Sure. Like for example, Fringe may make it to another season, but it's still going to go down as a failure in the long run. As will Castle. But at least Fringe USED to get good ratings.
Castle hasn't been a winner in Marc's column ONCE this season. Its current demo average is below the point where ABC wouldn't be thinking seriously about whether it should come back next season. So stop gloating over bad ratings in an easy timeslot, as opposed to worse ratings in a horrible timeslot. And stop pretending I'm still a Fringe fan. I'm over at tvbythenumbers fighting with its defenders now.
I believe Castle was a winner, briefly, the night of Green Bay-Minnesota's football game. Castle is the only show that is discussed all 7 days of the week on this forum, so it's got that going for it. (quoting Bill Murray's Karl from Caddyshack regarding his Dali Lama meeting).

It'll be interesting to see. I think TBL can pull off a Dancing and be 90 Minutes to slot in a new comedy. The only thing that worked with TBL in the past was L&O: SVU and I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say they don't have much overlapping audience.
Kind of hope this will work. It'll be nice to see another successful comedy on NBC. Plus, 100 Questions has a British lady as its lead. British! Everyone loves a British accent!

Nope. Even the original football-inflated 3.0 in the demo didn't make it a winner in Marc's book. And Castle has gotten that high exactly once--for its premiere.

Weak response, mushu. Even for you. As you can see from just doing a quick search, LOTS of rightwingers seized on V as anti-Obama propaganda, even while accusing liberals of overreacting to it. But in any event, now that the ratings are starting to collapse, it's becoming kind of pointless to argue over the politics. This isn't 24. It may not even run 24 episodes.

OK, well maybe people argued that it SHOULD have been a winner. That's close right? lol.

I never said 'secret'--it's pretty blatant. And as for me being the only person--geez, tvaholic. Is posting on this forum all the websurfing you ever do?

No, I don't think even Castle's defenders argued it was a winner, going by the inflated #'s. Takes more than beating Leno to make that grade--and actually, Leno was younger-skewing.

C'mon, mushu--you could give me some props for that. I looked stuff up. You really ought to try it sometime.
I never made any comparisons to Bionic Woman or said it was like it or wasn't like it. Nice way to change the subject when you're wrong though.
I made the comparisons, which are now vindicated by this weeks ratings, and which make your sunny predictions for V last week seem--premature. Try to keep up, won't you? Or were you the one trying to change the subject?
