I'm not sure if I agree with this. But they did put together a great episode tonight. And they also put together a relatively long season. Wink

Let me know when you decide if you agree. Smiler

Yes, tonite provoked the admiration.

I was glued to my seat -- with Lost -- never has a show captured my attention more -- it is so riveting. It deserves to get a lot more award acclaim than it gets.

Eli Stone was pretty good, but I don't think I really bought the show until the end. It's written by Greg Berlanti -- creator of brothers and sisters and everwood -- in case you guys didn't know.

Where's marc?

My thoughts on this very interesting Thursday:
While ABC certainly did very well with its premieres of Lost and Eli Stone, it was Fox that surprised me very much with their solid gameshows. The CW had below average Thursday numbers but still pretty decent numbers considering. I expect them to regain some audience in the coming weeks. NBC is the one really screwed here. Their Monday lineup is already starting to ware on viewers. Their Thursday lineup has peaked now that its facing real competition. Their Friday shows are about out of episodes. Their Sunday night is a disaster. That leaves two nights with real solid results: Tuesday and Wednesday and still solid but sinking Monday nights. ABC will take second imo for February sweeps with CBS, which suddenly looks very old, battling NBC for third.

I'm back now! I always enjoy NATPE...very busy for me. But the conference room floor was basically dead. And there was very little news to report other than the announcent of Marie Osmond hosting a talk show for Program Partners in fall 2009. I was there at the press conference and think it is a great idea. She has a huge following, particularly among older women.

Was anyone else at NATPE?

Yes...just finished the whole thing. I really liked it. I was somewhat concerned about flashing forward, but it worked. Who do you think the other three people are who got off the island?

That would be a total guess at this point. I'd guess Locke, Michael (when he returns - and Harold Perrineau was in the opening credits last night), and Juliet at this point.

I'd guess Jin, Claire and Sayid.

I am going with Sawyer, Rose and Bernard. The reason I am guessing Rose is because there was a funeral they said they were going to in the season-finale last spring, and I am guessing that Rose's cancer came back after leaving the island.

3 guesses, 9 different people. Between the three of us maybe we got one person right. Who knows?
