Heroes numbers may be down, but didn't a report come out saying that the show was seen an additional 4mil times via the Internet? People are watching the show; they just aren't watching it live. If it continues to improve, like it has these few weeks, people will return it to their "must watch live" list.

As of right now SCC is here to stay for the season so we need to deal with it. The episodes are getting much better.

WW is doing ok. Last nights episode was really funny.

Marc, maybe my math is wrong - but Samantha Who's demo retention appears to be 68% out of the 9pm portion of DWTS, not 58% (4.4-DWTS 3.0-SW).

Still not great... but perhaps not as dismal as you make it sound.

Marc, I assume you meant the network might want to REconsider renewing SCC for the whole season?

And they really should--at the very least cut the order. This is beyond disastrous, when its only drama competition is the almost as pathetic Chuck.

You just can't take being provenwrong can you PISHER?

The renewel of SCC is a triumph for quality, serialized story telling. I'm so glad FOX Stood behind a show for once. Yeah, it doesn't pull in the ratings of watching a bunch of wash up stars and nobodies dancing around on the stage...but it tells an intricatly, detailed and woven story with a great cast.

Good for TERMINATOR and good for FOX!

A Sarah Palin fan talking about "quality". The Apocalypse is coming

C'Mon Robert...can we just stick to the ratings today and not turn this thread into another Anti-Sarah (highest ratings in 14 years on SNL) Rant?

Thank you. And I do agree with you on PRISON BREAK...it would do better at 8PM but FOX doesn't appear intrested in doing any juggling around.

No, FOX has to deal with it--and with ratings like this. Which will get worse. And as of any time, they can cancel or shorten that order. Don't forget that--SCC's producers aren't. Wink

OTH numbers seem somehow inflated. A 500k build-up on GG is way more than usual, the same for demos. Was GG really bad last night and people tuned out?

BTW IN 18-34 SCC got only 1.6 while PB got 2.2. Interesting don't you think? SCC is not such an young skewing show like many think

How about a "They made her look like an even bigger idiot than she really is" rant?

She's definitely a Not Ready for Primetime Player--give her that.

Not ready now, and never will be.

Trashed? You have a way with words, Robert. First, OTH is not "trashing" GG. Second, and more important- the shows are not in competition. In fact, they give the CW it's strongest night of television, and both are doing so much better than a year ago. Kudos to both programs.

Kudos to Boston Legal as well. Holding it's own in this, the final, and very strong season.

You just can't bring yourself to read SCC's ratings, can you A.C.?

You apparently missed all the times in the last few weeks I said I thought there was a good chance SCC would last the season--when others were saying it was going to be gone right away. I've been proven right on both counts--FOX is being dumb, and SCC is tanking hard, just to prove how dumb FOX is being.

Will you settle for a combination of ratings and politics? This Mediaweek article:
http://www.mediaweek.com/mw/content_display/esearch/e3i...92e7c1e27124fd93c3fc
lists a few of the cable networks along with their most Republican and most Democratic leaning shows.

For example:
TBS: My Boys(D) Bill Engvall(R)
COM: Colbert(D) South Park(R)

Well 500k more viewers, 0.5 more in 18-49, 1.0 more in 18-34 means trashing by CW standards. And all that with 10% of GG's promotion
