Million Dollar Password is quite entertaining. I'm glad it held up well.
Has anyone else noticed that portions of the show appear to be re-recorded? It seems that anytime Regis explains the rules, he is not in the shot, and the sound quality changes somewhat. Further, the contestants and celebrities seem to be reacting in ways that don't correspond with what we're hearing. It's as if whatever Regis said at the actual taping has been altered and a new voiceover has been recorded by the time the show hits tv. Seems really awkward.
FOX did poorly with its repeats but thats probably because of the NBA Finals. There's some speculation that The Simpsons might end next year due to low ratings (as the cast and crew get pay raises) and 20 years is a good for any series. And FOX is premiering two new animated comedies anyway, and with King of the Hill entering season 13, its about time that new animated shows fill up their line-up.
If SIMPSONS were going to end next year I don't think they would have bothered renegotiating the voice contracts-they could have just pulled it a year early.
Actually, even though the cast signed a four year deal, FOX has only renewed the show for another season (its 20th). And with The Simpsons declining in ratings each season, I dont think it would be a surprise.

It is on Thursday this week. It is being preempted in its regular Sunday slot due to the Tony Awards.
Password is similar to the Power of Ten last summer. It will do okay in the summer against weak competition. If they put it on during the Fall against tougher competition it gets killed.
Is it just me or does everybody think CW should have cancelled EHC instead of AiA?
I enjoyed AiA better, so I would of liked it to have been renewed. What's with The CW last night? Most CW shows were in the millions, even against The Finals.

Since we never see the C3 ratings (i.e. the ratings that track how many minutes of commercials are viewed for each show from Live+3 Day DVR viewing), we don't really have a basis for comparision.
Looks like advertisers are not very optimistic about the new shows, with the exception of Eleventh Hour.
The Sunday afternoon Royals-Yankees game did a 6.5 household rating (in the New York market, I believe), which, according to Yankees broadcaster Michael Kay today, is the "second highest rating for a weekend, non-Red Sox game" in the history of the YES Network.

That is an interesting chart. There are a few things I find hard to believe, such as the prediction that both Knight Rider and Pushing Daisies will do better than Bones. I'm also wondering where they got data for CW's Sunday night since that wasn't part of the Upfront and hasn't been sold to advertisers yet.
I wonder how they came up with these 'predictions'? Advertisers don't buy based upon viewer numbers or household numbers, so I don't think that these numbers can be used to predict when any makegood situations would kick in. Instead, maybe this was just some answer the survey and get a free T-shirt type thing that Adage did with the advertisers at the various upfronts?
