The only hope for this show is the international revenue. So MP fans, cross your fingers and do some pray. Wink

Ouch, Melrose is doomed. The only good note is the retention on demo out of 90210: 1.1 to 0.8. Hows it doing on the W18-34?

Oh, and kudos to Gossip Girl, despite crap ratings, it was able to manage 3.1 on W18-34 last night!

I wish abc pulls the plug on shark tank asap. It feels like all the networks have put up the white flag against cbs' dominant tuesday line-up. I am not to worried about the lower the usual numbers for dancing. Dancing tends to perk up as the season goes on. When you have a lot of dead weight dancers in the beginning people, myself included, tend to be bored until they all get voted off and the best remain. abc take note, for the next cycle please dont bombard us with tons of couples making it feel like it is never going to end.

NCIS is no longer underrated eh Marc? Razzer Its amazing how well CBS does with these kinds of shows in fact I can see them building a franchise similar to CSI now that CSI seems to be fading a bit. Marc, have you heard any buzz about V? I'm really looking forward to the show, largely because I'm a big fan of Elizabeth Mitchell. What are the chances of it doing well as a midseason replacement?

Yes...I am hearing a lot of good stuff about V. And, you know what...I think is has a shot at succeeding. SMart of ABC to wait to launch it in November.

great numbers for NCIS and its spin off. The good wife is doing surprisingly better than I first thought it would do.

The forgotten will be just that in a few weeks.

I can't get over how well NCIS is doing this season. What is the cause of this sudden ratings bump in its 7th season?! Do you think it has something to do with the reality/talk show overload on this night, making it one of the few scripted choices?

On the other end of the spectrum, Melrose Place has to be considered one of the biggest flops of the new season. It had so much build up over the summer -- advertising, billboards, magazine covers, etc -- plus it was a known quantity and it can only get 1.5 million viewers?

SYTYCD is still in the audition rounds. I think it will gain viewers and demo when people start voting.

NCIS did well also against House. I think the show being in constant rerun on USA did help get them new viewers.

I am DVRing a few reruns of NCIS on, I believe, USA just to see what the fuss is about. I am seriously shocked that this concept is doing this well. Something about the Navy? Did JAG do this well?

I don't know, those numbers for DWTS are quite concerning. And considering it usually spikes during the elimination portion and we didn't really see that this week suggests people don't really care. I do agree though that as the season goes on and the better dancers remain that interest will tend to go back up.
