Like Beauty and The Beast was a cult show to certain people. Not necessarily like X-Files was a cult show or Buffy.
So what you're saying is, "Moontrite" is likely to run 2 and a half seasons, with the axe falling unceremoniously a few episodes into the last one. I agree. Well, make it 1 and a half and I do.
Then again, if Alex O'Loughlin pulled a Linda Hamilton and walked right off the show, that might actually help the ratings. It would certainly improve the chances of me watching it.

The early reports said that 14 scripts had been written (and overly optimistically predicted all 14 would be produced this year). Do I think they are going to throw out 6 completed scripts? No. Whether they will be used to expand next season to a full season or if they'll just become part of next season's 16-episode order is anybody's guess.
