Some shows on CW pull better demos than those GA and DH repeats. I truly don't get it why ABC doesn't try some game show on Fridays. Bingo was a failure but some other one might catch on

Nothing (regularly scheduled) has hit a 3.0 all season on Friday. I'm not sure what the significance is of nothing doing it last night. All the CBS shows were at or above season average.

I think Moonlight's an almost certain return for next season. While not high by CBS standards, it's numbers are stable and Moonves sounded pleased at the conference last year. It has buzz and a high iTunes rank, does really well with teens. CBS wanted a younger skewing show and they've found it.

What will help Moonlight more than anything is the fact that the strike will delay all of the possible replacements CBS was setting up for that slot. Still, losing 2 million viewers from your lead in when the predecessor grew by 1 million and not to mention, losing .5 in the demo is never a good thing. Plus, a repeat of House tied it in the demo at 9:30. Perhaps its not the best fit for a Friday night. Maybe Tuesdays at 10 or Sundays at 8 would be better options in the future because its drug down CBS Fridays all season long and allowed ABC (when WMC is airing) to get into the game at least in total viewers.
I don't get why they didn't try Primetime and WMC repeats before going to this lineup. I agree some gameshows would be good counter programming or even repeats of Wife Swap and Supernanny.
