Even after 56 seasons on the air, broadcast network televisions very last anthology series never fails to deliver. Bravo Hallmark and CBS! Bravo!
I couldn't agree more, d d.
Too bad there was so little publicity for this marvelous made for TV movie.
There really isn't much to say. But that NBC number is really low, even for a Saturday.

If its ever a slow Sunday I always tune into those Made for TV Movies from Hallmark. Always wonderfully produced and executed. A great way to spend 2 hours time. Too bad CBS doesn't consider making it a more regular thing again on Saturday. In fact, during holiday season, CBS could run Holiday movie reruns on Saturdays for about 6 weeks. It'd be a nice change from the procedurals.

A great idea mushu_jj. There have been so many Hallmark's broadcast by CBS over the years, and many with actors who are now major stars.
There is probably a complication in that Hallmark seems to underwrite them and four-wall them on CBS. But Saturdays leading up to Christmas/New Years and Mother's/Father's Day (big days in greeting cards) would seem an ideal placement for encore presentations of Hallmark Hall of Fame.
Tonights episode had such a beautiful message of the power of forgiveness that will resonate with me for a long time.

Yes Fred, I don't recall seeing any promotion for it, and very little critical review in advance of airing. I thought the post-movie featurette with Bruce Murakami was apropo, and it motivated me to go to hallmark.com where I downloaded a marvellous discussion guide (I think intended for teachers).

I am heartened to see that the CBS Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation of "Crossroads: A Story of Forgiveness" garnered a 7.0/11% in the overnight metered markets, and that it won the 10 pm hour with a 36% advantage over the season (series? NBC?) finale of The Apprentice.
