Also it is the same rhetoric from Tyra and the judges. It is always, "the judges and I feel like so and so has all the potential in the world." It is old and predictable.
Peace!!

In terms of modeling, it has become completely irrelevent. If you watch Season 1, the production job was much worse but the relevancy to the industry was a lot higher. Somewhere along the journey, ANTM became Tyra's Platform with Models In the Background.

Top Model has degenerated from a modeling contestant to a platform for Tyra's talk show and her "social movements." It obviously doesn't help that none of the winners have actually graduated to top model status. The falling tides are lowering all ships on the CW. Hopefully next week Supernatural would renew with good numbers and perhaps lead off a night next year, so another two seasons could be the end of the CW.
T Dog, any word yet on how "Under One Roof" and "The Best of In Living Color" did on the Chicago MyNetworkTV affiliate WPWR?
I had read that the affiliate purchased a seven hour block of adverts on WGCI leading up to the premiere of the sitcom.

I am waiting to hear from MNTV to see how those shows did.

Supernatural went from WB to CW between seasons one and two. It switched timeslots to a much more competitive night and hour. I can't slam it completely for loss of ratings, but I dream at night of going back to Tuesdays. It would perform better.
Supernatural never relied on sex, even during season one. There was only one scene of that nature. The boys rarely even take their shirts off--a sin amongst CW shows. It's probably why Dawn Ostroff keeps proclaiming publicly that she doesn't "get" the show. What? No gratuitious skin but one or two eps a season? Me no understand.
If they started that business now, it would be such an obvious ratings grab. There's a whole arc waiting to happen next season about what the truth was behind the boys' murdered mother having previously known the demon who killed her and infected Sam as a baby. Kripke has a specific arc planned for each of the five seasons he hopes to get. If he abandons that for strict monsters of the week, I doubt it would be beneficial for ratings. The network demanded miss pretty sexy Bela this season, and the fans loathe her. It's pretty bad when I read on every single site that the fans are hoping her character dies in the finale, if not sooner. They're openly praying her character doesn't return next season. She was supposed to be the sex appeal that grabbed more male fans. She didn't.

If I was in charge of their public affairs, I would have ensured that an overnight metered market report, with analysis attached, was on your desk by 8 am to enjoy with your morning java.
The suspense around MyNetworkTV ratings is daily ritual, and I yearn for the day they turn out to be better than expected.

Any way, I am very interested in seeing how these shows did last night. I don't expect big numbers, but will be fun to see if and how much above MyTV's average they will do.[

Unfortunately, I don't have the numbers for "Under One Roof" or "In Living Color" in Chicago, but it is true WPWR bought a "roadblock" of ads on WGCI-FM for "Roof" yesterday.
