ABC is still having problems with repeats. UB, GA, and PP all scored low ratings and demos with their repeats.
NBC with their comedy block also rated lower but they did do better than ABC in repeats.
CW got typical levels for a repeat.
CBS got some good numbers out of the CSI repeat. 11H lost a good portion of the CSI repeat audience, especially in the demos. MDP is very old skewing. It's demos are really low, even considering the lower 8 PM viewership levels.
FOX got a decent performance out of SM, although it's off its debut numbers. A renewal could go either way. AYSTA5thG had a better rating this week, but still off it's Thursday numbers last year and it lost a good percentage of the demos from SM.
After four nights of Week 13, CBS leads in A18-49 with a commanding 3.37 average, but with a whopping advantage in average viewers (more than double that of second place NBC). NBC is second in A18-49 with a 2.59 average in A18-49, with FOX third with 1.98, ABC fourth with a 1.68, Univision fifth with 1.55, The CW sixth with a 0.65, while MyNetworkTV trails with 0.43 in A18-49.
In viewers, CBS has a dominating average of 13,444,000 viewers, while NBC is second, FOX third, ABC fourth, Univision fifth, The CW sixth and MyNetworkTV seventh.
Based on trends evident after four days (and factoring in 'WWE Smackdown' on Friday as well as CW's putrid Friday-Sunday numbers), MyNetworkTV will still finish up the week ahead of The CW for the fourth consecutive week in the 2008/9 season. Just look at how close the two networks are now in the season-to-date numbers...The CW is averaging 2,110,000 viewers (1,230,000 A18-49s) vs 1,720,000 viewers (770,000 A18-49s) for MyNetworkTV. In these past four weeks, we have witnessed the beginning of mini-network parity, and just over two years after MyNetworkTV started up from scratch as a brand new broadcast network.
Password: only the latest in what has been a season-long commentary on the steep decline of the primetime game show. It's time to accept that all these shows failing in the same year is not a coincidence or bad scheduling. The genre has fallen out of favor, especially with viewers that matter to advertisers, and there is very little chance that a game show will be holding down a regular season timeslot next season, which the possible exception of Fox Fridays. Game shows are dormant again.
That said, I do think Password will at least pick up some more P2+ steam airing out of 60 Minutes. But there's no way this can continue to replace the likes of Amazing Race during the regular season.

I think that the 10Million for the Eleventh Hour repeat will make CBS very happy. It is holding a much better percentage of the audience in rerun than it did in first run, which likely means that it is building viewership. Of course, NBC gave CBS a free pass this week by scheduling the horrible comedy repeats.
Million Dollar Password had horrible numbers in comparison to what Survivor does in that timeslot. People thinking that CBS will move Survivor out of this timeslot are nuts.

I agree, the gameshow format is hurting right now. If a gameshow is going to break through the decline, it needs to be something NEW. Million Dollar password or Primetime Price is Right simply are not the answer.
Side note: the best gameshow on TV these days is Cash Cab.
I agree. There's no way CBS is moving Survivor out of Thursdays at 8 PM. It works there (not to mention its dominant) and there's no incentive for CBS to move it.

I don't think CBS is all to nervous about MDP numbers just yet. This was just a special airing. All the commercials for MDP said it would be on Sunday.
If it does bad on Sunday, CBS should save it as a summer show.

8:00 CBS 5.1/9 1.5/5 8,055,000
8:30 CBS 5.4/9 1.6/5 8,482,000
The Password viewership was very similar to 'Boston Legal' (season average 8,492,000), which might have been due to Mr. William Shatner guesting.
Speaking of Mr. Shatner, I'm sure he, as well as the legions of Trekkies out there (of which I am one), were saddened to learn of the passing yesterday of Mrs. Majel Roddenberry, who has been re-united in the heavens with her number one, Mr. Gene Roddenberry.
The Computers on the Enterprise will never be the same again.
