I'm sorry but UB is doing better in viewers and in demos. I don't call for the cancelation beacause the show is on ABC not on CBS. A 7.9 million show on ABC is good, on CBS is not. And UB does not have a lead-in


where i live (los angeles) ugly betty's lead-in is jeopardy and wheel of fortune...the two strongest game shows by far...betty has a strong lead-in...

as far as comparing moonlight and betty...?

1. ghost whisperer is a decent lead-in but not a great one
2. betty does skew 10% better then moonlight in the demos
3. betty would probably do worse then moonlight if it was on fridays due to hut levels
4. moonlight would probably do better then betty due to stronger hut levels on thursdays



That's your opinion. I think Moonlight would do much worse against all the competition there is on Thursdays, and UB would do better wiyhot a big competition on fridays


actually i stated facts...betty has a good lead-in...hut levels on fridays are much lower then thursdays...why is it so hard to believe that moonlight would do better on a night where hut levels are twice as high??? or that betty would do worse on a day where hut levels were halved??? again I stated facts, you stated your opinion...

actually i dont watch moonlight...i saw a couple shows and it was okay i guess but not my cup of tea...

again, i stated facts...you on the other hand refuse to see facts b/c its about a show you like...

I can easily see the logic of Moonlight doing better than UB, if they were on the same nights. Just the fact that Thiere numbers are very similar now indicates that.

A lot of UB's audience has left the series and even less of the fans would be there on a Friday night. Moonlight being on CBS does give it a little extra boost, plus it would then not have Survivor to go against.

I do not watch either series, so I can look at this objectively and without bias

I tis good alternative programming for FOX. Other than AI or HOUSE, they do not have anything that can compete and make the dent that 5th Grader and DFTL has done this season.

Hah to be honest I'm kinda tired of it too. Judging by the amount of board space wasted on that show, you'd think it was the next DH/GA or something :X

Moonlight could last another season or so--it won't last as long as Angel. Sheesh, it probably won't last as long as Forever Knight.

I very slightly know somebody who works on it, and needs the work badly, so I hope it comes back for one more season.

Of course my saying that could be all it takes to get it canceled.

Re: Weather pre-emptions

In the Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem market (tornadoes afoot!), CBS aired nothing but weather coverage from 8pm to 11pm. They've rescheduled the shows for the weekend. I don't think Raleigh-Durham was negatively effected, because the storm was still over our way at 11pm.
