Glad to see Supernatural doing a bit better than it has been recently. Last night's episode was great with a good twist.

Smallville- That was down a bit, I thought last night's episode would have generated more interested. Next week's episode looks horrible. They always do this. A really good episode always comes along after a break but than the next episode is bad.

Andy Barker, P.I. was very good and very funny.

Raines was good. A good twist at the end. And quite funnh.

October Road, was just... egh (not sure what sound that makes, but it seems right).

Fifth Grader- Didn't see it last night but it did good in the ratings.

To the viewers that sampled Raines, how was the show? It sounded like a really bad version of Medium to me.

I am sure they will. Last night's episode looked pretty good and next week looks even better. However the episode ended 5 minutes earlier as well. And I predict a rise in the final numbers.

It was timed at about 38 mins long and it really pisses me off. But, what can you do. :/

Here on the forum, you were seeing some numbers as high as 15 million viewers. I think the lower nmbers were in the 11-12 million range.

WOW. A dramtic difference from over nights between 5th Grader and UB. The Numbers for 5th grader were not as high as we expected, but they did dominate over UB.

Looks like those that watched Raines last night, liked it almost nothing lost at 10:30pm.

If you didn't see Raines last night, Check it out again tonight.

I bet most of the viewers from Shark sampled Raines

Probably true, but I bet OR still got a decent bump by facing basketball and not Shark.

Do you think it might have lost some viewers to 5th Grader?

IIRC, when *The Apprentice* first premiered, it was specifically written in Burnett's contract with NBC that the Peacock never run *Apprentice* opposite *Survivor*.

I guess Burnett did not get the same writing in his contract with Fox. OTOH, I also think no one expected *5th Grader* to do this well ratings-wise, and *Survivor* is not the powerhouse it once was.

Can't see ABC moving *Ugly Betty* to a new timeslot for May sweeps. Thursdays from 8-10p have been one of the few consistent bright spots for the Alphabet this season, and UB has been one of the first scripted shows to successfully compete against *Survivor*.

Wow. OCTOBER ROAD did amazing. The pilot was OK, but it wasn't anything new or special. Some critics love it, some critics hate it. Time will tell. People who already saw the first 4 episodes said it becomes quite interesting. I will definitely keep tuned.

I agree it's too soon, but IF it were still the case by the May upfronts for 07-08, would they schedule a move for next season?

If 5th Grader can continue to be stronger at 8pm Thursdays, would ABC consider moving Ugly Betty to another night?

Would they let UB be the 3rd ranked show in its time period?

Why would abc move ugly Betty? Just because it had an off week does not mean that the sky is falling. I still feel that by the time the season ends UB will bounce back to a competitive #2. I dont think 5th grader has the legs to carry it thru the entire season as the time slot leader. I think that it will definitely be competitve,by far the best that fox has been able to put in that slot by far, but with survivor returning and Betty picking up steam as the season comes to a close I am predicting that 5th grader will probably end with 8-10 million weekly viewers.

If Andy Barker was funny it means i might need some humour sense medicine

The numbers for the NCAA games confound me. I don't know anyone who didn't watch. 10 million? No way.

Since you liked Andy Barker, what type of humor is it? What previous show is it most like?

I don't know how they get the #s for the NCAAs. I usually just watch TV with my wife, but with the NCAAs, I watch with like 7 other people.
