At least for Monday night.
Can't wait to see how the rest of the week will fair for them.
Monday is a night with established CW shows, though. Tuesday is two brand new shows and Wednesday just aired the 'special' makeover episode of ANTM. I don't expect Tuesday/Wednesday to hold up quite as well as Monday did this week.

And i'm not sure PB will get those 22 episodes i'm afraid
7 million must be a record
It didn't really drop 7 million year-to-year. Remember, last year they aired the premiere twice with the same commercials so they could add the numbers. The first airing of the premiere last year got 14.12 million viewers and 6.5 in the demo. A drop of 4 million and 1.5 isn't good, but it's not as severe as 7 million and 2.4.
You're right, but that's NBC's fault, in the record books it still goes as a 7 million drop. I didn't choose to add 2 nights, NBC did it
CBS wins premiereMonday in 18-49 for first time since 2002 HIMYM best ever premiere in 18-49 2.5 Men...best 18-49 premiere since 2004 HIMYM, Men and Miami up double digit percentages vs. last yr Best 8 PM ratings for BBT
I'm sensing a theme from posters here that T:SCC needs to be cancelled, buit that Prison Break needs to be saved. The two shows had similar ratings this week while Terminator actually grew from last week's show and faced stiffer competition than it will going forward. I don't see FOX jumping to cancel either of these shows quickly.
Wasn't Heroes pretty regularly in the low-10 millions last season? So, the drop's not THAT horrendous. However, considering the massive ad campaign for this premiere, you gotta think there's going to be another drop next week. If last season leveled out around 10, and this season is starting out below that, they're going to be around 8 by February.
Switched with what? You're just throwing things out there. ABC has nothing to switch it with. I suppose they may move a show there at midseason once BL wraps up but the fact of the matter is they have nothing else to air there that would do better. Remember, Samantha Who is the lead in come two weeks time. It too will likely only pull 9 million and a low 3 in the demo. Boston Legal won't look near as bad once that happens. Plus, sometimes it takes a week to realize that a show has switched timeslots. Its not as if ABC did a ton of advertising.

Given Fox and ABC's current situations and lack of fill in options (I don't see either going to repeats because of the repeat overkill last season), I'd say the Fox Monday dramas will last the fall and probably wrap up after 13 or perhaps 16 episodes in Prison Break's case. fall goes on.
And its not like Fox will really want to start up with repeats again after such a repeat-ridden season last year. I think Fox will end both after either 13 or 16 episodes. I don't see them going a full season with either. Just enough to get them wrapped up.

Really? TSCC a stronger competition? How? From DWTS? Come on, those are 2 different audiences. Maybe some competition form the sitcoms but that's all. PB had against it a much stronger sitcom and a similar skewing show like Heroes and still did better. If FOX is gonna cancel one show clearly it's gonna be SCC. PB has done well for FOX 3 years, they cannot end it abruptly.

The main point here should be that if Fox does allow one to wrap up (I don't see how they can afford not to at least let one), then it will be Prison Break. Doubtful its a full season though and I think it will simply be burned off on Mondays this fall and end in early January. Terminator on the other hand, may just end after 13 episodes. I doubt either show goes to Wednesday. I would expect a reality show to fill their come November or perhaps Kitchen Nightmares returning there and 5th Grader/Lyrics going back to Thursdays.
I've been away for a long time, as there was nothing much to write about. It's good to be back! Anyway, TSCC is a dead man walking. I wonder when will Fox pull the pug and whether we get to see all 13 eps. Prison Break was always garbage, and now the viewers are starting to realize it. This show's time will be up soon as well. I guess the Heroes bubble just burst last night. All this hype, and not too many people even care to watch. Two hours was way too long for me as well.
Worst Week's ratings aren't particularly good, but looking at it as a standalone it's not really bad. I feel like almost anything will do decently sandwiched between CSI: Miami and TaaHM. I think the issue is TaaHm will have to end eventually, and CBS needs to start finding its next flagship comedy and soon. Worst Week is clearly not it.
I'm not too concerned about Heroes. It'll still be one of NBC's top demo performers. It is opening at recent levels, and perhaps if this season is good word-of-mouth will bring its ratings up. If I were NBC, I would be more concerned about My Own Worst Enemy which needs to have decent demos rather than high viewer totals. If it does 8 - 8.5 million and a 3.5 - 4.0 in the demo, I'd be pretty happy with that performance

The competition Terminator faced this week is stronger than the competition it will face in future weeks. What is hard to understand? Do you expect Chuck to be more formidable competition than Heroes?

Garbage or not PB still does better in its fourth season in demos than Moonlight. Sorry

What competition from Heroes? You mean the clip show? Yes Chuck will do better than the clip show. Not by much though

For a sampling and with the promotional blitz CBS has had on for Worst Week these ratings are terrible. For this show to only hold 74% for its sampling week is a disaster for CBS.
