Me too. Not horrible episodes but not their best either.
Though I kind of like the idea of Barney falling in love with Robin, you can see they are struggling with the perhaps insoluble problem that Barney is only fun when he's being a narcissistic philandering jerk.
I bet the Rules of Engagement does. CBS seems to like to give that show the prime slots each season despite its rather blah retention numbers out of its lead in. Nevertheless, it would be an improvement over Worst Week, which wasn't anything special. I think people are underestimating the potential for comedies on Wed. at 8pm. If Fox could get decent results last fall for B2Y/TD, then I'd say CBS who is known for their traditional comedies can too.

I predict that Worst Week will fall below the two 8pm hour CBS sitcoms in viewers and demo next week. Hey, it already lost to HIMYM in demo this week.

Spot on pisher. I absolutely love the idea of Barney and Robin together, but agreed he was just downright stupid last night. Hopefully this problem gets fixed somehow. On the other hand, Stella was downright excellent last night.
To say FOX Mondays aren't competitive is an understatement. They are way behind in both viewers and demos. T:SCC lost to a Heroes clip show in both viewers and demos. That is pathetic. T:SCC will be pulled by November but Prison Break will probably stay due to the fact that it is still pulling mid 2s in demos and building on the numbers.
SCC actually went up slightly from last week in total viewers and the demo, but that can be attributed entirely to the season formally starting, and HUT levels going up accordingly.
Fourth place simply isn't acceptable for two such expensively produced dramas. FOX has to stop the bleeding ASAP. IMO, they should simply pull both shows off the schedule for now, let the producers wrap things up, then bring them back for a brief final run, when everything else is in repeats.

Heroes really tanked. NBC can't be happy about it.

ABC has to be very happy about DWTS but BL is just tanking the numbers. ABC could have been even stronger without it.
Given Fox and ABC's current situations and lack of fill in options (I don't see either going to repeats because of the repeat overkill last season), I'd say the Fox Monday dramas will last the fall and probably wrap up after 13 or perhaps 16 episodes in Prison Break's case. ABC didn't have much else for options either. They had virtually nothing ready for this fall. Allowing Boston Legal a final season is a good decision and I predict BL will regain as the fall goes on.

Yeah, I have to say I like Sarah Chalke much better on this show than I ever did on Roseanne or Scrubs.
Which isn't saying much, but seriously, she's quite good.

I doubt it.

I agree that this will be the last season for PB/T:SCC and things will wrap up. However, House/Bones repeats will pull in higher numbers than T:SCC. Perhaps even Fringe repeats can pull those numbers. So FOX does have at least repeat options. As I said before, I don't see settling for a low 2 demo for November sweeps.
As for PB, they have 22 episodes to burn. Fridays mid-season is where that will be placed.
I do agree that BL will run through all 13 episodes. I just don't think it will be after DWTS if the ratings continue. It will be switched with something.

The numbers for Heroes are not good. Given the response to season 2 and the long break, that's not surprising, but still disappointing. The one ray of hope is that it didn't drop much in the demo from last year's average.
CBS did well on its premieres. Worst Week is definitely the weakest link. I do think CBS will be a little patient with it though. They liked it enough to buy part ownership, so they really want it to succeed.
FOX is in trouble overall this season, which is disappointing since things looked hopeful last fall. I think the only thing keeping PB and TSCC from being canceled early is the fact FOX has nothing else to air.
BL lost a lot of its lead-in, but it didn't have a big drop from last year so I don't think ABC will be concerned about its numbers.
And even if Heroes does drop. The claim that the numbers are "VERY bad" is ridiculous.
I'm sure that NBC would like and was hoping for better numbers and that's why Marc got it right when he labeled it disappointing.
