Raising the Bar is in trouble. Ratings plummeted last night (no surprise). I think TNT could've done better by making this a Sunday night series. Monday's ep failed to clear 2.5 million. Perhaps TNT should stick with summer shows as this show has actually improved a lot since the beginning. http://www.mediaweek.com/mw/content_display/news/cable-...2a4dbcefd584aa234545
I agree. Those numbers are way too low, even for cable.

Sadly the show has improved big time after its terrible first episode. Why TNT didn't demand some tweaks to that first episode was surprising. Will be interesting to see how TNT reacts. Will they change timeslots with it?

You think that just cause you see more than 10 minuts of a show, the ratings drop.
That is just one of my many awesome powers.

And then you say the people of Firefly will be the death of every show they're cast on?
I guess the alternate explanation could be that all the shows they're cast in really suck.

Be careful, you know what they say, spiteful people have an eraly death.
Is an 'eraly' death a bad thing?

(I'm joking btw
And that's perfectly okay--joking about somebody else dying is quite acceptable. Joking about lowering a TV show's ratings is entirely beyond the pale.
I think T:SCC fans should be happy about those numbers it could've been worse.
And what's more, it will be.
I mean, last spring, would ANYONE have predicted that the hyper-promoted big budget Terminator series on FOX would lead Gossip Girl on CW by only around 2.5mil viewers--and less than one full percentage point in the demo?

I think the show wilted under the pressure of the broadcast network season premieres and the fact it did not have an original epsidoe of The Closer airing as a leadin. It may be a case that this show should air during the summer and not in the fall.
Even if they put Raising the Bar on during the summer, its ratings do not warrant giving it the post The Closer timeslot. I'm not sure this show can serve as something to build around in establishing a new night of drama on TNT.
I think NBC will be interested in Worst Week for its ratings challenged single camera Thursdays. It would fit in nicely with Kath & Kim, The Office and 30 Rock.
(Earl needs to end already.)

I predict that Worst Week will fall below the two 8pm hour CBS sitcoms in viewers and demo next week. Hey, it already lost to HIMYM in demo this week.
