Wednesday update from the Big Brother 11 house (thanks to JokersUpdates.com):
  • Russell tells Kevin and Gnat-alie that Jeff lied about all his jobs.

  • Jeff about Russell to Jordan & Michele: "We all got 500,000 reasons not to talk to him... You [pretending if Russell's there] say you're in the villain role, no, you're the douchebag role... [referring to Russell's game play and his chatter with Kevin & Gnat] How does he do it? How does he live with himself? I'd cry in the shower.... I wanna YouTube this kid when I f***in' get out of here and see this kid get bashed, 'cause he ain't no f***in' fighter."

  • Of course, creep Michele, privately to Jeff & Jordan, chimes in: "[Russell], you're a ***** misogynist. Go f***in' home." (neglecting to disclose Michele's hugging and making-up with Russell within the past week).

I thought Crash Course was absolute trash.

I don't know if trash's the right word. Jerry Springer is trash. At least CC was relatively family friendly.

I just found the show to be very boring. There didn't seem to be any real risk or anything (not that I want the contestants to be put in harm's way, but raise the stakes somewhat). All the stunts are done (and shot) better in action movies. So, what's the point?

Exactly what i thought would happen - Michelle is now getting into alliance-mode with Jeff and Jordan, which is probably the best move right now. No offense to Kevin, but him and Natalie against Jeff, Jordan, and Michelle has no chance. All assuming Russell leaves on Thursday, of course. This just proves that she knows how to play the game.

It's a copycat version of Wipeout but not as funny and not as entertaining. I had no idea it was filmed in Detroit though, that was kinda cool to hear. Let's hope the course is amped up a bit in the next episodes - they need to at least do something to make the show more exciting.

My thoughts exactly

BTW, is it just me or did Dan Cortese ad a third sylable to his last name?
Before I always heard it rhyme with Japanese. Now its Japanese-y

Maybe he was pronouncing right and everyone else was pronouncing it wrong all these years, lol. Now that you mention it, I did notice as well.

He was by far the better host, though - Orlando Bloom was downright annoying. Definitely not fit as a host for this kind of show.

More update:

  • Shortly after midnight Eastern, in the HOH room, Jeff, Jordan, Kevin & Gnat-alie are in a discussion that's music to my ears: Michele bashing! Jeff says Michele gets smug sometimes and other times, Michele "is the stupidest woman he's ever met." (mind you, Jordan's present when he says this Wink ) Jeff adds that Michele has that look on her face that she's thinks she's the smartest in the house. All 4 note about Michele's supposed bad memory throughout the season. As Jordan leaves the HOH room to go to the Diary Room, the 3 continue to bash Michele and how she dealt with being drunk in the past as well as her ridiculous "a**-burning" method of getting up the ramp during the most recent Veto competition.

  • Obviously, Gnat-alie notes to Jeff: "We GOTTA win tomorrow!" And for Gnat, "We" means "Kevin" & herself, excluding "Jordan."

  • Russell says to Michele that he is trying to convince Kevin to vote out Gnat Thursday night... by claiming that keeping him will help Kevin take out Jeff next week. (Good luck with that, Russ!)

  • As for the most hypocritical comment of the evening, Gnat-alie complains that Michele doesn't ever shower after sweating post-workout.

  • In response to Michele (as Jeff put it) "flipping the script so many times" and being "a question mark", Gnat-alie advises Jeff to tell Michele that he wants to keep Russell... just to see if Michele will be the lone vote to keep Russell around. But then Jeff replied that if he did this, Michele would go running to Russell with that info, then Russell would get all excited and go to Jeff.

I'm wondering what Jeff's really thinking right now. It would probably be wise of him to stick with Michelle (and Jordan, of course) rather than Natalie and Kevin. That way, it could be a Jeff/Jordan/Michelle final 3, in which I wouldn't mind seeing any of them win. Kevin could make a comeback in the HOH or POV, though. In either case, if Natalie doesn't go this week, she'll probably be going next week.

And Natalie making a comment about Michelle not showering? How more hypocritical can you get? lol

More update (a.k.a. descriptions of the devolution of Russell Big Grin ):

  • Jeff now expects Russell, in Russell's Thursday last-plea speech, to insult back the stuff Jeff has said to him, commenting to Kevin and Gnat, "[Russell] has no thoughts of his own." Jeff adds about Russell to Kevin/Gnat, "If I'm so stupid, how the f**k did you get got by a f**king someone as dumb as me? That means you better be dumber than me. So how dumb does that make you if I'm the stupidest person you ever met?... [Russell's] so insecure... take a look at yourself in the mirror, [Russell]. He's always telling me he wants to hang with me in Chicago. I never want to see him again."

  • Gnat describes Russell when he once went to the Diary Room from outside this past week (perhaps early Wed.), he pointed to his own body saying, "look at all this, so when you go to the Jury House, you'll have something to j***-*** to."

Let me recap for you Kevin's "dullness" the past week:
  • created a plausible lie about Russell & Michele taking out Jeff next week
  • confessing to the us in the Diary Room how amazing it was that Jeff was buying the lie
  • humorously complimenting Jeff's looks in the backyard
  • twice privately jumping for joy with Gnat-alie over his "accomplishments" of the past week

I can't believe I'm gonna state this of Big Brother this season but I have to: Kevin rocks!

(As for Gnat-alie, I still can't get over the fact she hasn't won a darn thing, considering she's supposedly an "Athlete". More fittingly, she should've been an "Oft-beat"! Wink )

After Chima's departure, I thought the house would be absent of exciting, funny fights. However, the prospect of Jeff backdooring Russell resurrected the heated conflict aspect of the show and it boiled to a very high level on Wednesday afternoon, thus making it a juicy one.

What I posted in reference to BB11 recently prior to this one in this thread were all the result of what occurred in the daytime. CBS may show this explosion for the Thursday episode, but if not, here's a little peek at what went on:

Jordan & Russell literally bumping chests as they yell in each other's faces; Jordan yelling, "I'm not f***ing scared of you!"

  • Jeff to Russell, after hearing constant insults from Russell, many of which copied Jeff's comebacks to Russ: "Do you have a crush on me? What's your thing? What's your thing? What's your thing? Do you want to have sex with me? Seriously. Because I'll show you a little a** on your way out the door, if that's what you want. Save something to j***-*** in the Jury House... yeah, for real, man - you must have a h***-on because no one else is doing this!"

  • Also, from Jeff to Russell, referring to the other 4 houseguests sitting on the backyard couches: "I'm making them laugh and, at the same time, they're laughing directly at you." Smiler

  • Russell replies, "The only girl you're making laugh is the little fatty [Jordan] next to you there."

  • Jordan yells to Russell, "You look like the biggest a**h*** on TV!"

Well, the production crew was at risk a couple of times.

I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! was so bad, it was entertaining. CC is not worth watching.

I still think Jeff made a big mistake.

More update:
Shortly after midnight Eastern, in the HOH room, Jeff, Jordan, Kevin & Gnat-alie are in a discussion that's music to my ears: Michele bashing!

Obviously, Gnat-alie notes to Jeff: "We GOTTA win tomorrow!" And for Gnat, "We" means "Kevin" & herself, excluding "Jordan."

Russell says to Michele that he is trying to convince Kevin to vote out Gnat Thursday night... by claiming that keeping him will help Kevin take out Jeff next week. (Good luck with that, Russ!)

As for the most hypocritical comment of the evening, Gnat-alie complains that Michele doesn't ever shower after sweating post-workout.

In response to Michele (as Jeff put it) "flipping the script so many times" and being "a question mark", Gnat-alie advises Jeff to tell Michele that he wants to keep Russell... just to see if Michele will be the lone vote to keep Russell around.

How more hypocritical can you get? lol

I'm actually with Marc here. On IACGMOOH, I at least was half way interested. I got bored with the terrible hosts on CC. I'm not coming back.
