What follows is the fast affiliate rating results for Monday, September 28, 2009 in the order of total viewers and adults 18-49 by network and by half hour per program (in the order of ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox):
What I'm noticing about Castle is not the time period growth (from a canceled show that was on its absolute last legs at the time), but the huge half hour drop--and as always, the lousy demo.
Again, what's it going to be pulling in when DWTS is out of the picture?
HIMYM is at least deserving of Honorable Mention this week. Let's compare Mother's performance this week to BBT's performance at the same time in week 2 last year (with MUCH LESS Competition...No House) that received Honorable Mention...
9-29-08– The Big Bang Theory Viewers: 8.71 million (#2), A18-49: 3.3/ 9 (#2)
9-28-09– How I Met Your Mother Viewers: 8.73 million (#3), A18-49: 3.6/10 (#2)
I know you personally enjoy BBT more, but Mother deserves some props here for doing what a lot of people doubted it could do (including yourself).
Congrats to BBT are in order as well. The episode last night wasn't anything special, but entertaining nonetheless. It's only a matter of time before it starts beating veteran Men in total viewers as well.

Another very nice night for HIMYM. It maintained its demo. I see big, big trouble for AOP. It dropped from last week, while HIMYM stayed the same in the demo. If it drops any further it is a goner after probably 13 episodes.
