I'm already tired of it. They move the show along so sloooooooooowly! I'd be much more inclined to watch if they sped things up and ditched the filler. Last night may have seen a spike because of the heavily promoted twists in the game. Did anyone watch? Did the twists help at all? What were they?
I would only ever watch DOND on tape because I HATE the part where the families have to talk. It would be a great HALF HOUR show if they cut out the filler like you say.
what about SW? do you guys think it is a horrible show that its ratings should drop this much? I guess I don't understand why people watched following DWtS if they did not like it.

This week it's on 5 times -- no kidding. I think NBC is pulling a Millionaire with DoND, and it's gonna bite them very soon!
Those numbers for OR are disappointing NFTU is killing it! At least it grew out of it in viewers and the demo, I really wish they would try this on a different night or time or with a better lead in.

I don't think that viewers are abandoning SW? for 2&1/2Men. Instead, I think the viewers for 2&1/2Men are just the same viewers as in the first run watching again. The former SW? viewers are simply not watching network TV at all in that timeslot. Maybe there really are lots of people that fall asleep during DwtS and don't wake up until much later? Without DwtS on, they never sit down in front of ABC to begin with.

It's absolutly NOT a horrible show. It's great. Christina really shines and I was wondering the same thing last week. Why not watch now when they could have turned it off before while DTWS was still on but didn't....

It really is their best sitcom in years. ABC better figure out a way to save it so it can get a Season 2.
They're already pre-empting it next week to save an original episode for later -- if Dance War does decent numbers as the lead-off in January, Samantha Who should bump back up to 10-million or so. Then it just has to hold on long enough for Dancing with the Stars to return and save it. I think if it has a season's worth of shows with a good lead-in, it will build a more loyal following and return next season.

I watched it. It seem like they did speed it up a little bit last night. They had three contestants. Which ever one won the most money got to keep it all. Contestant 1 won $50,000, number 2 won $10,000 and number 3 won only a dollar. So the first contestant took home $60,001 and the other two got nothing.
I like the show but don't want to watch it everyday of the week. The only game show I like to watch every day is Jeopardy.
2.09! Poor CW, aren't the Spanish speaking only networks getting better numbers than that? And those were new episodes when most networks were showing repeats. It's going to be interesting how low those numbers get come January when everyone but Chris is out of new episodes.
I just have to say, "This is TV." They should really think about the fact there is so much more for people to do than sit and watch TV anyway. It's not like their jobs have any affect on allowing the common man to get through his day.
I think it's pretty telling how lazy most people are. They couldn't even pick up the remote to change the channel after DWTS.
Sorry, but Samantha Who? is a snoozer.

My God, what a disaster SW turned out to be. From a big hit to a disappointing show in a couple of weeks. I was very pesimistic abut this show withot the big lead-in but i never thought it will go so low. ABC is in trouble.

The SW numbers, on the other hand, are just scary bad. Kinda-sorta reminds me of HMHY...hope SW doesn't see the same fate!
NBC is going a bit crazy this week with 5 hours of DOND. But in January it retuns to its 2 hours per week (Mondays 9PM and Wednesdays 8PM), which is pretty much what they have used it for most of its run. It is completely NOT overused (with the exception of this week of course). When NBC was getting 15 million or more on Mondays they could have easily overused it, but they never added it to the regular schedule for more than 2 hours per week. Unlike ABC with Millionaire several years ago, when they had it on the regular schedule at one point for 5 hours per week.
There is no comparison to how ABC overused Millionaire, and how NBC does not overuse DOND.
And with Millionaire, I think the number one thing that killed it was the celebrity editions, where they had people yelling out the answers to help, and the celebrities obviously did not care as much, as they were not playing for themselves. The overuse obviously did not help either, but the celebtiry editions were just so bad.
