-Yesterday’s Losers (Excluding Repeats): Dateline (NBC), Sit Down, Shut Up (Fox), King of the Hill (Fox)
----------
-Ratings Breakdown: CBS was the most-watched network on this second Sunday in May, while ABC finished first among adults 18-49. The Eye net opened the evening, of course, with granddaddy 60 Minutes, which finished first in total viewers (9.97 million) and second among adults 18-49 (1.5 rating/5 share) at 7 p.m. Next on CBS was the season-finale of this very successful season of The Amazing Race (Viewers: #1, 10.43 million; A18-49: #1, 3.0/ 9), followed by the season (or series) finales of Cold Case (Viewers: #2, 11.78 million; A18-49: #3, 2.7/ 7) and The Unit (Viewers: #2, 9.66 million; A18-49: #3, 2.4/ 7) from 9-11 p.m. If I were programming CBS, I would keep Cold Case on the schedule and move it into the Friday 9 p.m. hour (out of Ghost Whisperer and into Numb3rs). As for The Amazing Race, congratulations Tammy and Victor!
ABC’s regularly scheduled Sunday line-up continues to dwindle care of veteran America’s Funniest Home Videos (Viewers: #2, 6.98 million; A18-49: #1, 2.0/ 7), Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (Viewers: #2, 8.19 million; A18-49: #2, 2.6/ 7), Desperate Housewives (Viewers: #1, 12.13 million; A18-49: #1, 4.1/11) and the season-finale of Brothers & Sisters (Viewers: #3, 8.84 million; A18-49: #2, 3.1/ 8) from 8-11 p.m. While still dominant Desperate Housewives deserves accolades for winning the hour, one year earlier it averaged 15.43 million viewers and a 5.6/14 in the demo on May 11, 2008, based on the final nationals.
NBC got off to a sluggish Sunday start care of Dateline, which averaged 4.03 million viewers (#3) and a 0.9/ 3 among adults 18-49m (#3t) from 7-8 p.m. But the three-hour season-finale of guilty pleasure Celebrity Apprentice perked up to 8.73 million viewers and a 3.1/ 8 among adults 18-49 from 8-11 p.m., with the half-hour breakdown as follows:
All I can personally say is…go Joan Rivers! And thank you Donald Trump and Mark Burnett for giving this viewer the best dose of reality television since season one of Survivor.
Fox, meanwhile, continues to lose steam on Sunday as follows:
Sunday (Fox) 7:00 p.m. – Sit Down, Shut Up Viewers: 1.59 million (#4), A18-49: 0.7/ 3 (#4)
7:30 p.m. – American Dad (R) Viewers: 2.36 million (#4), A18-49: 1.1/ 4 (##)
8:00 p.m. – The Simpsons Viewers: 5.16 million (#4), A18-49: 2.5/ 8 (#3)
8:30 p.m. – King of the Hill Viewers: 4.10 million (#4), A18-49: 1.8/ 5 (#4)
9:00 p.m. – Family Guy Viewers: 6.47 million (#4), A18-49: 3.2/ 9 (#2)
9:30 p.m. – American Dad Viewers: 4.95 million (#4), A18-49: 2.4/ 6 (#4)
And distant No. 5 the CW burned off another evening with repeats of Jericho (Viewers: #5, 720,000; A18-49: #5, 0.3/ 1 from 7-7:30 p.m.) and theatrical The Spy Who Loved Me (Viewers: #5, 1.00 million; A18-49: 0.3/ 1 among adults 18-49 from 7:30-10 p.m.). What an embarrassment!
Fox's whole line-up is just one big ouch this week, especially:

I think the remaining episodes might be pulled after these numbers.
I agree that Cold Case might work on Fridays. Can't CBS order a 13 episode 7th season and at least try it out? They do co-produce the show with Warner Bros.
Anyways, kudos to TAR for solid ratings for a very good season and for beating Extreme Makeover: Home Edition after years of being second in the timeslot.
Kudos to Celebrity Apprentice on a very entertaining 2nd season.

That's all-time lows for The Simpsons and SDSU, maybe even AD and KOTH. The Simpsons lost 1.5 million compared to last Sunday, does anyone have an idea why?

I don't think it's an all-time low for KOTH. If I'm not mistaken, it was doing worse when it was on at 7:30.
I think maybe the holiday had to do with it. It seems as if the younger-skewing programs were all affected.
I believe Desperate Housewives hit a low too and maybe Extreme Makeover: Home Edition as well.

I hated Cold Cases episode last night. I hated last seasons season finale. I love the show but maybe the ratings would be better if they had good season finales.
Seems like CC should be a "winner" -- the gap with DH in viewers has shrunk. Isn't this a new record low for DH in viewers (1MM less than previous low)? Yes, I know the demo is much better, but DH is way off. I don't see how it's a winner. Give them both Honorable Mentions. LOL
And if king of the hill is a loser, shouldn't the simpsons be on the list as well? Barely cracking 5 million and a 2.5 demo is awful even if it is building on awful 730 repeats
