House really benefitted from not having original BBT/HIMYM against it! Guess it really needed to get out of the way of NCIS. We'll see what happens when DWTS comes back (though The Bachelor's demo, surprisingly, is pretty comparable) but Fox should just leave House on Mondays in the fall instead of shuffling it depending on when Idol is or isn't in session.

FOX took nice advantage of the CBS rerun night.

ABC's True Beauty is probably not going to be back for another season.

NBC's Templar fell further from the dropoff Sunday night, but had a bit of recovery at the end...so at least some of those that said they wouldn't watch part 2 tuned in to catch the end.

Those are staggeringly good repeat #'s for BBT and HIMYM. They've both come a long way. No way should CBS consider splitting them up right now.

I agree. House should stick with Monday night from this point foreward.

House would benefit from getting rid of that god awful, mind numbingly boring thirteen. I am so sick of her character and her "scintillating" romance with Foreman. Now he's going to jeopardize his career for her. This is the guy who stabbed Cameron with the needle of the deadly toxin so she'd be forced to help him if she were infected, too? What a bunch of crap. House's writers are bound and determined to run the show into the ground this season because Katie Jacobs is in love with the thirteen character. Roll Eyes To think I thought that House and Wilson would be a focus this season. What was I smoking?

While the urge may be to get those viewers to try out comedies on Wednesdays, I agree that CBS should leave them on Mondays. Now next season they need to find their next big hit to place at 9:30 behind 2.5 Men that can eventually anchor Monday at 9pm. This spring should be the prepping period for Rules of Engagement to make the move to another night next year.

I'm surprised by House's rebound. I agree Mondays are the place for it.

The Bachelor has really been on fire this winter. I think ABC has found its Dancing mid-winter replacement on Mondays. Now they just need to find something for Tuesdays.

Goodness gracious, but didn't ABC do well last night?

'The Bachelor' tied 'Two & Half Men' at 9:00 pm, won the 9:30 pm half hour, and then 'True Beauty' won the 10-11:00 pm hour.

Too bad that 'The Last Templar - Part 2' didn't do better. It was a good miniseries.

Given how strong MyNetworkTV has been on Mondays of late, I would expect to see later today that their tandem of 'Twilight Zone' and 'Masters of Illusion' probably exceeded 'Gossip Girl' and 'One Tree Hill' last night.

'Masters of Illusion' was particularly riveting last night, with a death-defying recreation of the Houdini Water Torture Cell Escape by illusionists Ridgeway & Johnson...this escape last night was a success, but at a recent NBA game, this same escape went wrong and nearly caused death by hypoxia to Miss Johnson.

I cannot believe that number for The Big Bang Theory. 9.29 million viewers and a 3.3 demo for a repeat ! It almost sounds like it is impossible it is so high. That is almost as high as its season premiere number. That is an amazing repeat number.

What is the difference between this season and the last few past seasons, when it did below average in the ratings?

Is it just that they now have a good contestant?
Can they now consistanly produce a good contestant, even though they have not in the recent past?

Maybe The Bachelor just works better as an 8pm starting show rather than 9 or 10 pm?

I think they went the whole 'single father' route this year and have been really playing that up rather than having a 20 something swinging bachelor. Also women loved him on bachelorette especially after he got the shaft from Deanna.

and Yes BBT is really repeating quite well. much higher than original episodes were getting last spring and early this year. I hope it can hold the audience come spring when 8:00 shows tend to fall off some. Right now with cold and stormy weather over much of the country overall viewership tends to be high

In other riveting news, The Monster Truck rallies have killed two people in recent weeks. Maybe MNTV should try to bring those events to broadcast TV?
