CBS – The New Adventures of Old Christine
Viewers: 7.64 million (#2), A18-49: 2.1/ 7 (#2t)

CBS – Gary Unmarried
Viewers: 7.43 million (#2), A18-49: 2.3/ 6 (#3)

nice little up-tic in viewers for the sitcoms. There may be hope yet.
Must have been all those FORMER PD viewers running from ABC to CBS. Big Grin

PP is barely at half its audience from last fall and is dipping under a 3 in the demo.

DSM will drop below 6 million viewers and grab just a 2 in the demo. Thats as bad as Old Christine was getting the first 2 weeks

ABC is the new CW on Wednesdays Wink

it is nowhere close to being called a hit.
It may have grown in the 1/2 hour, but those numbers will be down from last week.

the only thing KR can is... "We dont SUCK as bad as ABC's Programming" Wink

Where else could Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money potentially work?

I doubt ABC would want to move Ugly Betty from Thursday's, so they won't give PD that slot. PD could of course, relocate to Friday, but that is as good as telling the show to pack up.

As far as DSM, an opportunity post Grey if Life On Mars does not do well? An opportunity on Sunday following DH, and give B&S a break for a week?

Hmm.

When ABC launched their new Wednesday line-up, last year, I would never believe that it would be slaughtered by the compatition the way it is right now. I thought at least 2 out of the 3 shows would remain competitive. All in all, it's an absolute disaster.

Maybe they should start from scratch next year. Or maybe just keep Private Practice, and sandwich it with two new shows next year.

If Life on Mars performs decently, and I think it'll do, it is pretty sure that Lost will air on Wednesday, right? So I guess DSM or PD aren't getting a 22-episode season in that timeslot...

I wouldnt be surprised if abc doesnt move Privte P. to sundays after Desperate. Bros. and Sisters could move to mon. at 10 after BL comes to an end. I am also thinking that Lost will more than likely return to wed. to help shore up that pitiful night for them.

While channell flipping I saw 5 minutes of PUSHING DAISIES where the bad guy was being arrested and I was stunned to think viewers could possible endure an hour of the grating whimsical narrators voice...no way this sees January 2009.

CBS comedies on the rise...good for them-especially CHRISTINE.

DIRTY SEXY MONEY is as anemic as this trashy show should be. If ABC gives a back order for the spring season they are nuts.

And once again its apparent TIL DEATH needs to be sacked or moved to Monday and TERMINATOR at least given a test airing at 9PM to see how it would perform there.

What are you guys predictions in terms of Life On Mars and Eleventh Hour, both premiering tonight at 10 on ABC and CBS, respectively? Any guesses?

ABC Wednesday is now a mess. They are going to have to make big adjustments here. I think they have some midseason shows that they can put here.

Reviews have been great for Life on Mars but who knows how many Greys viewers will tune in. 11th Hour sounds like its in the vein of all the other CSI clones so it should hold 3/4 of the CSI lead in if I had to guess.

ABC needs to give Pushing Daisies a rest. Perhaps a one-shot re-launch following, say, the Tuesday DWTS recap in February?

No amount of relaunches and second chances are going to save this show.
