Has anybody seen the metered market numbers for MyNetworkTV last night? Douglas?
MyNetworkTV launched two new series last night; the highly anticipated 'The Tony Rock Project' at 8-8:30 pm, and 'The World's Funniest Moments' starring Mr. Arsenio Hall at 9-10 pm.
If anybody could share metered market numbers (even just in the big major markets), I would appreciate it.
Also, move Boston Legal to Weds, DSM to Sundays and Brothers & Sisters to Monday. At this point, ABC is hurting so bad, perhaps one of the moves will help.
Pushing Daisies would make a nice Saturday Series as will Eli Stone. Both should do the rest of their runs on that night. (Trust me, Eli will be DOA this year.) Sat nights can be the new home for quirky TV shows on ABC.
They can dump the rest of the eps there, but they'll please nobody, and the ratings will be low even for Saturday.
PD can finish its run on ABC Family. Eli Stone--I dunno--maybe The Prayer Channel?
Problem is, ABC's other Wednesday shows are more 'adult' in their content. Not really good 8pm shows--not that PD is, of course.
PD has by far the lowest ratings of the three--and they're going to reward it for that?
Well, other shows at 8pm are:
CBS – The New Adventures of Old Christine NBC – Knight Rider Fox – Bones CW – America’s Next Top Model
Don't you think PP could steal viewers from ANTM and TNAOC?
(I'm just proposing a solution to gain viewers, I think PP is crap)
I think they should move Wife Swap to Wednesdays at 8 and Supernanny to Tuesdays at 8. Pushing Daisies, Primetime or Opportunity Knocks and 20/20 would then air Fridays.
So, for the second week in a row, the numbers for the soon to be off the air Boston Legal were better (in viewers) than all of ABC's still living and breathing Wednesday night. Oh boy.
You really need to get over BL 'only' lasting five seasons.

ABC could care less about Boston Legal, despite the fact that in viewers, it is only behind their top 3 hour long shows, and perhaps Ugly Betty depending on tonight's performance. They are just waiting for that show to complete the final TEN episodes, even if it should be around for an entire final season of 22. Whatever.
I would leave Boston Legal at this point and there's no sense wasting Brothers and Sisters either. If Eli Stone bombs (I'm still holding out hope it finds some audience behind Dancing), then Dirty Sexy Money goes to Tuesdays. They could consider saving Private Practice episodes for Mondays when Boston Legal is done and use the Bachelor as a lead in. However, until then, I think the Tuesday and Wednesday 8pm hours need Wife Swap and Super Nanny.

I am pleased with how long it has lasted, but I just think this is the wrong time to go out when you clearly (as a network) don't have the slate of shows that you can afford to lose a decent performer.

BL has run its course. Its a good time to end.
It might be a good time to end, but perhaps with a full season, instead of a short one? I mean, at least it still ranks above the other things ABC has to offer.
Nice job last night by OC and GU. CBS just needs to leave them there, and see if they can build. With Bones being the only competition, they may do better here.
