Right, because then the winner would be whoever had #43. And that person would have to be 'congragulated' (sheesh are you Popeye the Sailor Man?), and the winner would be whoever guessed 44. It's endless.
I've been thinking about this very problem in the scoring system, and I think I have an answer.
I have 37.
You have 42.
Whichever number comes up first wins.
The person who guessed 8 is disqualified for being anal.
No one can say I'm not the epitome of fair evenhandedness.

In addition, with at least two dramas locks to be mid-season replacements (and up to four possible) you would have dramas mid-season replacing comedies.
The sitcoms are extinct. Their fire has gone out of the television universe. CBS and NBC are all that remains of their religion.

What's sad is that Shark had potential imo and perhaps after another season post-CSI, could've grown into something. Instead, they got greedy and put WAT back on Thursdays for no reason and killed Sunday in the process. I'm all for more sitcoms. I hope ABC starts reinvesting in them as well. Cedric and Damon Waynes are good starts. And lets air them on Tuesdays and develop a comedy block to air into Boston Legal. I know I'm too optimistic but can't a guy dream?

But wait Your number comes before mine.
I think who is ever closest by 6pm should be the winner.

No what happened was the networks got greedy because of a few hits and in the process just put out trash to fill the holes because sitcoms were so popular. People tired of the same old same old and the quality stuff was drug down with the trash. I always thought ABC had a nice handful of fun comedies that people never tried in the early 2000s because 1) no one was watching ABC and 2) when ABC did start to get hits on the air, they sacrificed the comedies for them instead of moving things around and holding off on reality stuff.
If CSI: NY went to Thursday 9 PM, it would kill the show. If it moves, it will move to a night with lesser competition or be benched for a season to prevent CSI oversaturation.
Originally posted by WlcmBlueBloodWorstEnemy: But CBS has also put on plenty of terrible comedy ideas also. Going too far over to one side and greenlighting comedies because they are comedies regardless of quality isn't the best idea.
The only BAD comedy CBS has aired over the last two season has been Welcome to the Captain. The Class was not BAD, just not clicking with the audience.
And Welcome... may not hagve even seen the light of day had a writers strike not been approaching last fall. In a normal year, The Captain would ave never made it to the air.

By the way things are looking these days on thurdays i dont think it would be killed.
I also think that if CBS had to choose between CSI or NY to put it into a slot that would kill it. I think they would choose NY because it the week link of the CSIs.
Well, that's merely a fortunate coincidence, isn't it?

Yes, well, you can think what you like once you start your own pointless "how many posts will there be on a given subject on this particular thread?" contest.

24, you mean.
Good number. Sucky show.

CSI is still dominant on Thursday. Why move it for a weaker show that would be less dominant?
