Metal,
The best advice I can give you is to completely ignore the "P-boy". He does nothing productive or usefull on this forum. He is not worth it.

Yeah. I've realized that. Wink

And it is very inappropriate.

Unless you want to be mean back and you can say that that is his favorite action to. If you know what i mean.

Wink

Thanks. Smiler I don't like being low to other people for no reason.

But maybe a little of that "action" you mention is what pisher needs. It's why he's so frustrated! Big Grin

I also think 6o min is boring. I have never seen the amazing race. I dont want 48 hour mystery, shark or numbers. I also dont like HIMYM or survivor.

I agree that Chuck should have come back for 4-6 episodes, but I think it was for the best to rest Heroes until the fall.

At most, Heroes would have only gotten 4 episodes done before the end of Sweeps, and I would not have wanted a story arc stopped half way through. But doing a few of the "Heroes: Origins" episodes would have been nice

I think it was very wise for NBC to sideline HEROES til the fall.

Anything half-baked would have risked provoking a fan base that has had this show under unusual heavy critical fire going back to the 2nd half of season I.

As far as CHUCK, they probably figured any eps this spring would have been a waste with lowered ratings from the fall and no time to build momentum.

Anyone wanna comment on Ugly Betty's move to NYC? I can't see how this is more cost effective -- 35 percent incentive yes, but it seems like it would be more expensive in other ways. Did they really need to cut costs for a show in its third season, yes ratings slightly down, but this is kinda unheard-never been done before....

But as I said before, Mentalist is holding the spot warm for Exit 19, just like Can Openers is holding the spot warm for Tower.

I went back to yesterday's thread to find the schedule you were referring to and I'm surprised people are putting that much stock in it.

I understand the site was close last year but when I read the column it looked like more of the garden variety gaming that goes on all over the place.

I have no problem with the cancellations or even the list of pickups.

But the column mentioned a number of shows that were not included in the list of likely pickups and the schedule included a few glaring contradictions:

CAN OPENERS - a (supposedly) younger slanting female drama airing against DH on Sunday?

THE MENTALIST - while I think this is more of a crime show than a paranormal show, still, coming out of NCIS? THE MENTALIST will not be like THE GUARDIAN.

COLD CASE - if they're going to air this at 10pm they might as well cancel it.

Typical of the speculation/indecision in the column was this:

"Fridays will likely remain the same, but I wouldn't be surprised if GW or NUMB3RS move to another nite"

It also harped on the football overruns and talked of the dangers it posed to a new show and then put a new show into the night talking seemingly wishfully of a shortened 60 MINUTES.

Eonline reports WMC is canceled and ES renwed. I cannot even comment on that without asking myself what is in ABC's execs heads. And i like ES a lot more than WMC. But there's not a single logical explanation for something like this. Doesn't ABC see what kind of numbers it's getting for it's repeats. WMC would finally be a show that would do decent in repeats, probably a WMC repeat would get more viewers than an ES original

Why does CBS hate the Unit -- even though it performs very well in the ratings?

They cancelled the higher rated Close to Home to make for Moonlight and now just hope for Home's numbers. Is the demo really all that they are after even though household ratings are high?

WMC skews so old. I just don't think ABC was happy with keeping something so older skewing and they likely had nothing to pair with it (not that it needed it because it could grow out of nothing). Eli Stone is the best option ABC has because they will need to fill a hole.

The demos were not bad for C2H and they're not bad for The Unit also

ES pulled the worse demos for the last episode than WMC did yesterday. So what's the advantage

And ES was going downhill, WMC is a very stable show

Didn't ABC learn something from WAB or OR?
