It happened before. What about the TWO-HOUR PREMIERE of AI and DWtS? What about DWtS and AI when few competitors are left the show gets shortened into an hour (and they give the competitors 2 challenges) but sometimes if few competitors are left the show limits into 1 & 30 mins. So it happened before.

True enough. The real test for Eli Stone would come if it ever faced real first run competition.

I think Eli Stone is actually doing pretty decent. Its lead in is a show whose audience sticks around for nothing. Its managed to keep around 7 million viewers and its not very compatible with Lost either. I think ABC should've aired the remaining BL eps in January and then given Eli Stone that slot. At least it would've been the same type of audience. Still, its chances of getting a renewal is slim to none. Maybe it would do well on a Friday at 8 or 9 too.

I think that Eli Stone will be out of fresh episodes before WAT or ER return.

If Futon Critic is correct, we will see it this season. They have the last episode of Eli Stone(ep. 12) airing on April 17. WAT comes back April 3 and ER comes back April 10. I see a serious down-trend in ES's future...

Were 12 or 13 eps completed? If 12, why not air the remaining 4 in two weeks of back to back eps so it doesn't have to get a repeat of Lost or Greys for a lead in.

I saw an ad for that show over the weekend. It looks REALLY BAD.

I think it looks funnier than any other comedy on ABC.

Given the state of ABC comedies, that's not saying much...

Because they don't have anything to air after Eli Stone is done? I can't imagine they're all that anxious to air repeats of Big Shots...

They could air 2 to 3 weeks of repeats of the new Thursday schedule and slate those recap specials ABC is famous for.

OK then, because their scheduling is done by chimps.

Hey that's just what I would do. I'm sure the chimps have worked this out over a bowl of bananas already. Wink

The Delete Eight has just been announced in the Futile Four forum bracket:

[#1] American Idol (FOX)
[#2] Grey's Anatomy (ABC)
[#3] Heroes (NBC)
[#4] 30 Rock (NBC)
[#12] Jericho (CBS)
(which upset #5 seed Lost (ABC))
[#6] Pushing Daisies (ABC)
[#7] Scrubs (NBC; ABC in 2008-09)
[#8] Deal or No Deal (NBC)

Cloris Leachman was dancing for joy at the 30+ participants who submitted guesses for the Thursday, October 9, 2008 edition of the PIFC Daily Game. Forum, expect Top 25 market data (including requests for Albuquerque and Fort Myers) for September 26-October 8 posted in its respective threads this weekend!

Some of you have requested market data for the nights since October 9. I have "Top 25" market data (including NFL Sunday, ION network, and late night talk shows) but I will NOT post them here unless 1 of the 2 following scenarios occur:

So, c'mon forum - using the words of Project Runway's Tim Gunn, let's "make it work!"

Before Jeopardy's Ken Jennings, there was Thom McKee on Tic Tac Dough.
Watch his amazing run on GSN weekday mornings at 9:30am/8:30am central

I have seen several promos for the show, and it looks very funny to me in the style of a FOX sitcom.

I know that Mr. Rob Thomas was briefly involved in this series as an executive producer though I'm not sure whether he guided along any episodes, but I will be keenly watching for his magic touch which will probably manifest in the early post-pilot episodes.

So well do I know Mr. Thomas's oeuvre, that I can see his hand in a series without even having to watch the credit scroll.

Wouldn't be a real bracket without a 12-5 upset, right?

By magic touch, don't you mean kiss of death. Wink

Speaking of 'kiss of death', Big Bang Theory sucked tonight.
