Yeah...I have a hunch that today will be the last day that New Amsterdam fans can claim that it doesn't belong on the 'flop list. I haven't found it as engaging as Terminator:SCC, but I'd like to see both of them back for next year. There are plenty of shows on FOX that I won't miss if they were cancelled to make room.

I think that Eli Stone will be out of fresh episodes before WAT or ER return.

If Futon Critic is correct, we will see it this season. They have the last episode of Eli Stone(ep. 12) airing on April 17. WAT comes back April 3 and ER comes back April 10. I see a serious down-trend in ES's future...

No, it didn't happen before. Last year around this time, DWTS started in the same week. But tit didn't have results show scheduled for the Tuesday after the season premiere. DWTS had its first results show the Tuesday after the second performance show. And that was the Tuesday Idol scaled back to just 1 hour on Tuesdays.
But personally I think DWTS is gonna feel it the most, since there will be another Lennon/McCartney themed show and Idol always has the most viewers in the last hour. On the other hand, people who watch both may switch to ABC for the final minutes to hear the announcement of who's leaving.

Yeah AI would suffer if it was the other way around... Who got the stupid idea to make the three worse singers perform again?

I also noticed that they have Miss/Guided scheduled to air back-to-back for three weeks...Does that seem like burn-off to anyone else?

Apparently, I had the PIFC Daily Game page change its daily content for 7:00 eastern... in the morning!

I fixed the glitch.

Thanks all for letting me know and sorry for any inconvenience.

Preliminary numbers for The CW - 3/16/08:

THE CW:
HH: 0.7 rating/1 share
Viewers: 1.1 million viewers
Demo: 0.4/1

If THE CW was a CABLE NETWORK, The CW's numbers are VERY GOOD ENOUGH on CABLE COMPETITION (not on Broadcast! PEE-U!).

I saw an ad for that show over the weekend. It looks REALLY BAD.

Flops
ABC: Carpoolers, Cavemen, BS, CM
NBC: Journeyman, BW, LJ
CBS: Captain, Cane, VL
FOX: Canterbury, KVille, NA, B2Y, NGAB, Nashville, JJ, Unhitched
CW: CW

Feel free to add anything I missed, but that is an impressive collection of flops for FOX.

Edit: how could I forget VL? Big Grin

Reluctant as I am to utter it, I shall concede that MyNetworkTV had its share of flops this season to add to Zitrones list, but it's not a very lengthy list, and that is due to the cautious skill that Mr. Meidel has followed in patiently programming and building the network up from its doomy days of despair of last winter:

MNT: NFL Network Total Access, Control Room Presents

For The CW: I won't call it the whole CW.

HITS
The CW - "Smallville," "America's Next Top Model," "One Tree Hill" and the soon-to-be-exiting "WWE Friday Night SmackDown!"

FLOPS
The CW - the rest of The CW shows except the list above.

GOOD PERFORMERS (by MNT Standards)
MNT - None.

The discussion was about shows that premiered this year, so none of the CW shows you listed would apply.

Actually I didn't do the premieres I did the shows in general.

I'm almost 100 percent that it has not happened before, I know that they may have overlapped by minutes but not an entire hour. I know cuz I watch both shows.

MY OPINION based from facts:

Daylight Savings Time (DST) doesn't only affect shows. A SURVEY (during the final days of the strike) was conducted (by I dunno, it was posted in Zap2it) and asked ppl if they'll go back watching their fave shows after the strike is done. But the MAJORITY said: No!, I think that was about 48% of the ppl who said 'NO' and the rest was split up to either YES or MAYBE.

So in conclusion, the return of "Grey's Anatomy" and "CSI" can possibly drop from their season averages and we can see that happening with the shows: "Smallville," and "Lost".
