Anyway, VM was overall bad lastnight and the trailer did not look to good. The trailer said "Someone Will Get Hurt" ! That's retarted because a 19 year old drunk kid that has never been on the series before got hurt. When a show goes out of its way to tell be that someone will get hurt, it better be an opening credits actor/actress.

I agree that the advertisement was a little weak/misguided. To be fair, about the "Someone will get hurt line," they DID show the guy standing in the middle of the street, and it didn't look like anyone I knew. LOL. As for the episode itself, overall it was okay, but not the best; the pacing was weird, and the mystery was solved too quickly and was also pretty anti-climactic. It almost felt like they were afraid to really tackle the terrorist issue, which isn't really like VM. I mean...they revealed Veronica's rape in the very first episode and talked about it in subsequent episodes, even added to it. They shouldn't have been so shy last night. ;-)

I think the ratings for VM were actually worse at this point last season than they are now. I know a renewal is nearly impossible now, but a very, very, small part of me still has hope.

Of course last year VM was running on a network that had closed up shop and stopped advertising. Now they're running on a network that's actually attempting to succeed.

I totally agree with the VM thing. They seemend to be holding back. Anyway the mystery was solved way too quickly and all the last 15 minutes were about Veronica wanting someone to be with her @ that stupid party.

I think Phil Stacey will stay -- he is the one to vote for on votefortheworst.com and he did really well last night.
According to dialidol.com -- which has been pretty accurate. Jordin is number one and even Melinda is bordering on the bottom 2 -- how is that possible?
i hope that when abc brings dancing back in the fall -- they do the tues/wed route. it got higher ratings.

Don't worry about it, we are just happy to have your input when you have time.
Last week, when guessing about VM/OTH return numbers I put VM at 2.4million viewers and OTH at 3.2million viewers. Sounds like I was pretty close for VM, so now everybody needs to make sure to watch OTH (right after watching the ANTM cast zipping around in Australia) tonight on the CW!
I personally think that the CW is in the wrong if they bring Veronica Mars back for a fourth season. There is nothing that justifies it coming back. Three seasons and still it is not able to draw a bigger audience and it has had some really good lead-ins. I do not care if it is a favorites of Dawn's or not...playing favoriates to a show that is not pulling its weight...is not going to help the network grow...like it needs to. Let this season finale be in the end of it. Nothing justifies its renewal and it should not be back.

Everybody Hates Chris also recieved 'critical praise'.
If I'm not mistaken, so has Supernatural, which has gotten and still gets positive reviews.
The CW does have some good shows, such as SN and some successful shows, ANTM, FNSD. It can pick itself up if it uses some business sense. Using good marketing techniques and doing what SciFi does, promote the living heck out of its shows and call them sucessful whether they are or not. Amazing what people will believe and start watching.
CW has the same problem it had when it started... it has to air something.... they have nothing they can air that does any real numbers in repeats so they are "stuck" with some ratings challenged shows...
As bad as Vms numbers are until they step up and do ANYTHING in pilot season they are better off renewing VM and it's 2.75M viewers.
Regardless if you like the show or not if it's renewed it shows how bad things are at the CW. To trot out a show that has proven it is what it is ( about a 3M viewer show) spells trouble. year two at the CW should be 4M and up for their dramas....
