-Ratings Breakdown: NBC’s Beijing Summer Olympics steamroller continued, with 24.32 million viewers and n 8.1 rating/23 share for the prime-time (8-11 p.m.) portion. Take a look at the half-hour breakdown:
Comparably, the Olympics beat the four competing networks combined by 10.18 million viewers and 93 percent among adults 18-49.
CBS finished a distant second overall with its combination of The Greatest American Dog (Viewers: #2, 5.12 million; A18-49: #4, 1.3/ 4), a repeat of Criminal Minds (Viewers: #2, 5.89 million; A18-49: #2, 1.6/ 4) and a repeat of CSI: NY (Viewers: #2, 6.06 million; A18-49: #2, 1.5/ 5). As much as I personally like non-scripted programming, watching an innocent dog being “expelled” on The Greatest American Dog is just too much to take!
ABC aired repeats of Wife Swap (Viewers: #4, 3.55 million; A18-49: #2t, 1.4/ 4) and Supernanny (Viewers: #3, 3.72 million; A18-49: #3, 1.3/ 3) from 8-10 p.m., leading into Primetime Crime at a third-place 4.07 million viewers and a 1.4/ 4 among adults 18-49 at 10 p.m. Don’t forget that Wife Swap and Superanny move into the Friday 8-10 p.m. block this fall. From a programming standpoint, that is a smart move.
Fox aired repeats of Bones (Viewers: #3, 4.74 million; A18-49: #2t, 1.4/ 4), which moves into the Wednesday 8 p.m. hour this fall, and another episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Viewers: #4, 3.01 million; A18-49: #4, 1.1/ 3). And the CW capped off Wednesday with repeats of America’s Next Top Model (Viewers: #5, 977,000, A18-49: #5, 0.3/ 1) and Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious (Viewers: #5, 615,000; A18-49: #5, 0.3/ 1). No…it does not get much lower than that! But, optimistically speaking, it is now only 12 days until the debut of the new 90210 on the CW. I hear that Kelly and Brenda will be temporary roomies!
I am not sure if the numbers are available, but what were NBC's ratings for the 11pm hour? There were alomost comercial fee fro an entire hour as they covered the final rounds of the Womens 10M Diving Semi-finals and the Gold Medal match of Womens Beach Volleyball, LIVE.

Why? Do yo think the dog is sad afterwards? Do you think it even has a clue what is going on with respect to the TV show?

Not even close to the 5.21Million viewers and 2.0demo that the Wipeout rerun put up this week. Likely, 20/20 is the only show left on ABC that can top it this week.
Criminal Minds (Viewers: #2, 5.89 million; A18-49: #2, 1.6/ 4) and a repeat of CSI: NY (Viewers: #2, 6.06 million; A18-49: #2, 1.5/ 5).
CBS shows are holding up against the Olympics. Good numbers

While the numbers are still very low, this episode did outrate all 4 of the ones last week and the 2 that aired earlier this week. So, maybe Termonator:SCC is finding a few new fans.

Pro: he gets to go outside and relieve himself. Con: the interview next morning with Chenbot.
Possible pro: combine the two!

Girlicious must have had some affect on Canadians. Their album debut at #2 this week on the Canadian chart and they have 4 singles on the Canadian Hot 100.
