yeah lost cant really help ABC here, its not the powerhouse it was, it only gets 10-12 million now if that maybe this season will be worse. and yeah CBS wont weaken. they have harpers island in deck and i think that will be a mega hit if they advertise it right. and i just see the wed 8-9 block building more and more

What does everyone think about LOM being moved to Mondays at 10pm in January, after BL has its run. You might get those viewers that are FINALLY tired of CSI: Miami's bad acting to swtich over and may get some of the HEROES crowd to flip the channel.
Forum, I've upped the ante! I will post all the Top 25 TV market data (with Albuquerque, NM & Ft. Myers, FL) from October 13-November 5 but there has to be at least 30 participants in each of the 4 games offered, until November 5 (which includes Wed. Nov. 5).
PIFC Game #84, where you almost become a network exec, building a roster of 5 shows, can be played now until this Tuesday morning at 7:59am eastern. PIFC Game #85 can be played starting approx. next Wednesday or Thursday until the Tuesday morning of November 4 at 7:59am eastern.
dumont's 2008 November Sweeps Game, where you guess how each network will fare in the next month, ends the Friday morning of October 31 at 8:00am eastern.
The deadline for each day of the new PIFC November 2008 Sweeps Daily Game, where you guess the 18-49 demos of your chosen shows, is nightly at 7:00pm eastern but also note, you can play multiple nights' programs in advance so in case you might not make it to the game on a particular day, you can play that future date.
And, PIFC Daily Game is always online - its daily deadline is nightly at 7:00pm eastern. All I'm asking is for just three (3) 30+ player Daily Games from now until November 5 (including the Nov. 5 Daily Game)

I gave up on CSI: miami years ago. It just plain sucks.

Count me as someone that prefers the 'weak storylines' that 'lack direction'. I watch an epiode of Life on Mars and I see a realistic crime drama about actual crime issues police would face. Compare that with the promos for CSI where people have been killed in specific posed positions, painted up, and placed as art: totally ridiculous show that insults the viewers intelligence.

Anyone hear about this? Personally I think this is a pretty good move. Knight Rider is relatively stable and a decent anchor and it is young male skewing. Life would fit well out of KR and although it does face the powerhouse of CM I think Life would do better out of KR then Crusoe which skews too old. Law and Order so early? Awesome, but I wonder how it will stack up against a much stronger CSI: NY? I hope Law and Order can still be strong and solid in the ratings.
Of course Caruso is almost every scene and famously can't act.
Gary Sinise, in contrast, is an accomplished actor.
Your statement is a little silly, something like "aside from the snow and cold, North Dakota is a lot like North Carolina".

This is CBS's season. All of their weaker hours aren't as weak and they could easily be repaired/fixed. Worst Week can easily be subbed out for Gary Unmarried or Rules. The Wednesday Happy Hour appears to be growing, EH seems to be increasing, and can't CbS easily put on The Price is Right on at 8 on Fridays, move the very strong Ghost Whisperer to the higher HUT 9 and give Numbers a stronger leading?
If I were in charge of the other networks, I would hate CBS right now.
Just another link concerning the NBC Wednesday shift. This might just weaken the CBS dramas just a bit because they had no competition. Not saying Life is huge competition but Law and Order is. Its gonna be bad seeing L&O against CSI:NY because I remember last season, it seems like L&O was skewing a little younger with Anthony Anderson but than CSI:NY came back and I think L&O took some younger viewers from CSI:NY and CSI:NY took away viewers in general from L&O.
Its sad that almost all the networks are a mess right now. I wish that NBC would put more comedies on, try out multi-camera comedies. Honestly, I feel like I naturally NBC because I love their past comedies - Will and Grace, Frasier, Friends, and many others. I not saying that single-cam is automatically bad and don't get critical acclaim (See- The Office, 30 Rock) but I think that traditional comedies just flow a little better.
