What does everyone think about LOM being moved to Mondays at 10pm in January, after BL has its run. You might get those viewers that are FINALLY tired of CSI: Miami's bad acting to swtich over and may get some of the HEROES crowd to flip the channel.

Very much agree about the supporting cast. The two leads (Carell and Wilson) provide me with the least amount of laughs on the show and are the least believable. I do like Carell, but some of the stuff his character does is too over the top - although, he's a little better this year. Wilson on the other hand, has gotten worse. That whole stupid baby stroller test should have been cut. (Instead of cutting the part where Kevin told Jan that he donated to the same sperm bank she used and suggested to her horror that the baby could be his.)

The Office is truely a great Ensamble comedy.
Steve Carrel does a fine job as lead and the Pam and Jim story line gives a different element to it, but the interaction with all the supporting characters is why I really enjoy the series.

PTC: CBS Crosses Indecency Line with ‘Two and a Half Men’
The Parents Television Council™ is filing an indecency complaint with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and urging its members and concerned citizens to do the same after a three minute long strip club scene featuring a lap dance aired on CBS’s “Two and a Half Men.”

I must commend abc for not mentioning CSI viewers cannot program their VCR's

Please Note: In one of the most competitive time periods on television, with Game 2 of the World Series in the competitive mix this week, it's likely there was an even higher than normal amount of DVR recording occurring in the Thursday's 9 o'clock hour this week. ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" will be a definite beneficiary once all the DVR playback is counted in the Live + 7 Day numbers, as the ABC medical drama is TV's most-recorded and played-back show. This season "Grey's Anatomy" is the biggest actual gainer from the originally-reported numbers (Live + Same Day) to the finalized DVR playback numbers (Live + 7 Day), surging by +2.7 million viewers and gaining an additional +1.3 Adult 18-49 rating points (+18%).

I don't think it'll work. My Own Worst Enemy was supposed to do that. Also, very few watching Samantha Who are going to stick around for Life On Mars.

I must say I was a little surprised at how far the scene went for network tv

Aw damn--that's a great bit--would have been kept if they were still doing the extra-long eps, which I LOVED--more time to get to all the characters. That's the downside to the ratings drop--we won't be getting many of those oversized eps anymore.

Very interesting, I think I kind of like that move, but there's some risk involved too.

I can see Miami getting back on track later this season as NY has passed up Miami at this point in quality and in ratings.

I think that's the only 10pm timeslot day that would fit the best for LOM, but going against other CBS' procedurals is not the direction I would like to go in.

Either way we all agree that LOM has to move as its not failing that bad. If it was then the number would've went from 8.22 million to 6 million. It stabilized and that's been very key for low-rated or solid producing shows this season. That's part of the reason why FOX kept T:SCC around b/c it was stabilizing.

That 8pm timeslot could really work for procedurals b/c CBS only programs NCIS at that time during the week.

Yep DH is still a powerhouse with 15-16 million viewers

And apparently many millions of them are older than 49--not that there's anything wrong with that. Wink

and high demo numbers against a full night of quality television and NFL.

Again, the football game got a lower demo rating than the World Series game, and WHAT quality television? The Foxtoons? CSI isn't my idea of quality, but it's been around longer than DH, and would utterly destroy it, in viewers and demo, were DH unfortunate enough to be up against it.

GA is just crap

Yes it is. And DH always was. Big Grin

The PTC makes me sick. Everytime they complain I don't even take it seriously.

Two and a Half Men is not for kids anyways. Again just like Family Guy, just b/c they have a kid or a baby in it or its a cartoon doesn't mean its for kids.

Does it really matter? kids these days are watching whatever they want. This isn't the 50s anymore, kids have access to the internet.

I almost never watch NBC so i have a question: what's this SNL update show? They replay parts of SNL usual shows or is new material?
