The best thing to do is ignore whatever the Piss Turd Crap says. If they don't like it, they can move to Cuba, China, or North Korea. No one cares what the PTC says, thinks, or puts out in one of their stupid press releases.

Got to say, I agree. The PTC complain about so many things and nowadays, those things really aren't that big. Seriously, if its indecent, it's simple don't like your kids watch it and if you can't watch your kids or have the time to, well I think that's a bigger problem.

Although, I would wish there was a show that could get positive PR from the PTC because they might as well help out shows rather then trying to get rid of them.

Count me as someone that prefers the 'weak storylines' that 'lack direction'. I watch an epiode of Life on Mars and I see a realistic crime drama about actual crime issues police would face. Compare that with the promos for CSI where people have been killed in specific posed positions, painted up, and placed as art: totally ridiculous show that insults the viewers intelligence.

unless its well done...and last nights episode was...

Anyone hear about this? Personally I think this is a pretty good move. Knight Rider is relatively stable and a decent anchor and it is young male skewing. Life would fit well out of KR and although it does face the powerhouse of CM I think Life would do better out of KR then Crusoe which skews too old. Law and Order so early? Awesome, but I wonder how it will stack up against a much stronger CSI: NY? I hope Law and Order can still be strong and solid in the ratings.

Lipstick Jungle to Fridays? Is NBC looking for record low numbers? NBC should of just cancelled it. Life will not get any higher numbers. Against Criminal Minds, Life will get crushed. Although, I will like seeing Law and Order back so early! Smiler

Yeah, Lipstick Jungle will probably suffer even more on Fridays, and Numbers, with the old skewing Crusoe as its lead in. I am holding out for a sliver of hope Life just because I really do like this show but this will be its what third different day airing new episodes and there have only been like 6 ish so... But yeah I love that Law and Order is coming back so early

Although I don't believe we will be seeing Medium soon because I think NBC does want to save in as a lead in to Kings on Sundays which could be the most ambitious drama this season.

Well, I am most likely going to delete the three episodes of Life on Mars from my DVR. Why waste my time watching it when the numbers are low?

This is interesting. That Palin/Fey skit seen by over 40 million? Nice viral marketing. Did anyone smirk at Tina Fey on that last SNL Thurday Weekend Update at the end when she kept saying and mouthing 30 Rock right here next week? I thought that was pretty funny. But if there was ever a time for 30 Rock to increase its audience.. its now. With SNL keeping its timeslot warm, having The Office as a lead in for its run, sandwiched with ER in its final season, FOX programming pretty much nothing on Thursday (except baseball and that won't last long) and Grey's Anatomy apparently falling? It either gonna be 30 Rock improving or it'll be the same and NBC will probably keep 30 Rock just for the awards alone (I believe that 30 Rock has been nominated for 60 various awards and won 20 of them including the biggest one twice the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series)

Although I know that its easy to compare Arrested Development to 30 Rock (or vice versa) but I remember in one of the "This day in History" thing that Arrested Development got like 3-4 million for its premiere and that seems pretty bad. Also, didn't know that AD was a multi cam comedy... you learn something everyday

Life opposite Criminal Minds? It could barely hold its own against Numb3rs! On the other hand L&O should be able to take away some of CSI:NY viewers.

Life will be crushed against Criminal Minds but Law and Order and CSI NY should share an audience.

Thanks Parents Television Council!! Big Grin

SPN fans are also hoping that an announcement by the PTC a few days ago stating that the 10/9 ep of SPN was the "worst show of the week" for its graphic depiction of cannibalism will help the show's ratings. The announcement can be seen here: PTC vs SPN

What will attract more viewers: Tune in to watch cannibalism (Supernatural) or tune in to watch a lap dance (2&1/2Men).
SPN fans are going to be disappointed if they really expect this to help their ratings.
