-Adults 18-49: ABC, CBS and CW: 1.5/ 5 each, NBC: 1.4/ 5, Fox: 1.1/ 4
---------------
-Ratings Breakdown: CBS was the most-watched network on this non-traditional Friday, with three nets -- ABC, CBS and the CW -- tied for No. 1 among adults 18-49. Obviously, you know it’s a low-rated evening when the CW finishes first in a category.
CBS aired a night of all repeats, beginning with Ghost Whisperer (Viewers: #2, 4.91 million; A18-49: #2t, 1.3/ 5) at 8 p.m., followed by the canceled Close to Home (Viewers: #1, 6.37 million; A18-49: #2, 1.5/ 5) and the returning Numb3rs (Viewers: #1, 7.21 million; A18-49: #1, 1.8/ 6) from 9-11 p.m. Does the network really think upcoming drama Moonlight, a show about vampires, will bring younger viewers into the Friday 9 p.m. hour next fall?
ABC opened with a repeat of veteran America’s Funniest Home Videos (Viewers: #1, 5.17 million; A18-49: #1, 1.5/ 6) at 8 p.m., followed by National Bingo Night (Viewers: #4, 4.40 million; A18-49: #3, 1.3/ 5) and 20/20 (Viewers: #3, 5.80 million; A18-49: #2t, 1.7/ 6) from 9-11 p.m. Don’t forget ABC’s revised Friday line-up next fall: 8 p.m.: Men in Trees, 9 p.m.: The Women’s Murder Club, 10 p.m.: 20/20.
NBC finished third overall in total viewers and fourth among adults 18-49 as a result of a repeat of 1 vs. 100 (Viewers: #3, 4.65 million; A18-49: #4t, 1.2/ 5), which is more entertaining than Deal or No Deal, a repeat of Law & Order: Criminal Intent (Viewers: #3, 4.55 million; A18-49: #3, 1.4/ 5), and a repeat of Law & Order: #2, 5.88 million; A18-49: #2t, 1.7/ 6). Personally, I am surprised that NBC has chosen reality/competition The Singing Bee for the Friday 8 p.m. hour next fall instead of the proven 1 vs. 100.
In return series news, Fox drama Standoff earned its cancellation stripes, with 3.95 million viewers (#4) and a 1.2/ 4 among adults 18-49 (#5) at 9 p.m. A repeat of Bones in its new summer Friday 8 p.m. time period averaged 4.11 million viewers (#4) and a 1.2/ 4 among adults 18-49 (#4t). Capping off the evening was the CW’s perennial Friday Night Smackdown! with a healthy 4.29 million viewers (#4) and a 1.5/ 5 among adults 18-49 (#1t).

I doubt it will bring in any more viewers, period. There is only one word for the upcoming new shows on CBS...bizarre.

I'll believe that move happens when I see it. NBC should save the Singing Bee to fill in for cancelled shows, aka, all of their new shows.
