Travis, your daily original finals posts are great, especially when composing PIFC games. I'm not alone in this statement but I wish I had access to ratings like you do but for now, you are our access. Thanks a lot!

Don't Forget the Lyrics
- 7.377 million viewers
- 4.6/8 HH
- 2.9/8 A18-49

Absolutely loved this and Wayne Brady. I also agree with the previous poster that he is defintiely the one for the Price is Right. He did an excellent job last night. Its really too bad ABC overdid the whole Drew Carey era because Whose Line would still be a great addition today imo with Just for Laughs.

TV-aholic, that is an excellent suggestion... I had pondered this kind of thing for weeks. I was thinking of basing bonuses on the amount of nominations each show got but your suggestion of using odds are better. Thanks to Travis, I just go to sites like Gold Derby for Emmy odds info!

And I'll just use the main categories (not the technical ones) as Emmy bonuses.

Douglas,

Since you are Da Man when it comes to games around here, how about an Emmy's Game.

Pick the winners from each category, but give each nomination weight/odds of winning so that a dark hourse is worth mor than a favorite.

Perhaps other restrictions on Shows (i.e. can only pick a show once or twice).

No duplicate sheets from players, just like the PI Feedback Challenge.

FYI - the full list of nominations can be found here

I'm thrilled to see Boston Legal up for best Drama, missing Brothers and Sisters and Lost in there, though. Matthew Fox was once again robbed of a nomination in a category he should have won. Interesting that Survivor was left off the reality list. All in all I have some favorites in the running, so I'll be excited about watching this year.

I like Boston Legal alot but I think Lost should definitely be nominated.

I'm sure they spent hours and hours considering the splendid works of MyNetworkTV. Or not. Big Grin

I agree. I actually enjoyed Don't Forget the Lyrics tonight. The Singing Bee was, at best, forgettable.

I'm with x on this one. I think Two and a Half Men is the best comedy on TV. I didn't find much appealing about 30 Rock and always get distracted by that shaky camera on The Office.

Thanks, Zedman2 for the new information.

Game #35 of the P.I. Feedback Challenge has just premiered online. Please join in on the fun by clicking the Challenge icon below!

By the way, another week, another wait - I'm STILL waiting for the full details of ratings info, now for the past 2-3 weeks. I have a feeling it'll be like this for the summer but that won't stop me from premiering a game per week.

Also, voting for the Lemon Awards has begun - click on the Lemon Awards icon below.

Marc, just a though, why not put DAYTIME and LATE NIGHT under the daily schedules forums. I don't know, maybe we could get into late night and some of the soaps here too...? Just a thought.

Thumbs up here on MAD MEN. Hamm was
terrific. Even after taking into account
the numerous style points and the usual
fascination with a period show, there
was alot of entertainment. The peek
into the very quirky advertising business
was real enough.

They showed advertising factoids during
the commerical breaks.

Here's a TV advertising factoid of my
own. One year in the early 60's, THE
TWILIGHT ZONE was temporarily cancelled
because it could not get a sponsor.

I wasn't in the room when it happened.
I just read alot Wink

Are the rules different for the different categories? Here is an article about 'Drive' getting an Emmy nod for something that aired mostly online:
