I am very pleased with the premiere of Just for laughs. It was truly funny and a nice change of pace from all the other competition based reality shows. I hope this one sticks around for awhile.

Looks like "Singing Bee" lost about 2 million viewers from last week, but held on to the AGT audience.
AGT itself took a sizeable drop. Its finals last week were 11.38, 3.9. These early numbers average to a 10.29, 3.2 It started out about the same as last week, didn't quite gain as much at 8:30, and didn't get nearly the 9pm boost it got last week. AGT's opening 6/5/07 total was 12.93, 4.3

Looks like viewers are staying away from Shaq's Big Challenge. A 3 million + drop from 8:30 to 9pm, then a Uptick of 1.8 million from 9:30 to 10pm.
I am little suprised at how blah Pirate Master has done. Its not that bad of a show (there have been better and worse shows), but no one really cares to watch it.
Big Brother seems to be steadily rising. Pirate Master continues to not rise at all.
I forgot that Just for Laughs was on last night, I wasn't planning on watching it, but I thought it was supposed to start next week. It seemed to help out Shaq's Big Challenge, though. That's good, because it's a worthy show.
The Singing Bee, while still winning its timeslot, lost 1.5 18-49 points from last weeks debut. That's quite a bit. I think NBC was jumping the gun a little bit when it scheduled it for this timeslot in the Fall. We'll have to see how it does next week.

Yayyy - Go Canada - Us northerners can produce good Primetime Network TV - let's hope the momentum for JFL keeps up next week so ABC will keep it around.

Well it is NBC ..... they are probably just so darn excited that somebody was watching something on the their Net besides football and Heroes.
I was pleased to see “Big Brother 8” held steady from its week ago episode. It was also encouraging to see that viewership actually increased during the hour, nearly 500,000 viewers. That contrasts with last weeks results, when BB8 lost about the same amount during the hour.
Last nights episode was the best by far (in my opinion) in what had been a rather low key, almost boring season.
NBC got mixed results from week two of “Singing Bee”, losing over two million viewers from its premiere and viewers from its lead-in, “America’s Got Talent”. That contrasts with Fox’s “Don’t Forget the Lyrics!” which retained nearly all its viewers over two days last week. Will those same viewers tune in again this week?
I’m not convinced that expanding “Biggest Loser” and keeping “Bee” is a good idea for NBC fall. Sure the two provide cheap counter-programming, but the competition will be much more severe than “House” reruns and “Big Brother” by the time September rolls around. By that time “Bee” may be lucky to be drawing about half of its current 10-13 million viewers.

Well... a Tuesday 10pm slot is not exactly a great slot for a Reality show looking to find an audience. And this show isn't bad, but it does have a lot of convoluted rules to it and it could have been done much better. And btw, last nights hilarious recap is up!

Well CBS has had reality success there before in the Amazing Race and Rockstar, but I think Pirate Master was doomed by the time it got to Tuesday. Totally agree about the rules though.
