Should be interesting...
When are these dvr numbers getting released?

It was horribly pretentious. Now I know why critics embraced it...they love to praise anything not main stream. They'll love a foreign subtitled flick about Bosnian genocide over a big budget alien invation movie. Same goes for PD...since its "outside the box"
I think it could be legitimately argued that a movie about Bosnian genocide needs a bit of critical support to get a fair viewing, whereas a big buget 'alien invation' movie with a hundred million dollar PR campaign can look out for itself. Sound reasonable?
This is a very heavily hyped network primetime series that costs a fortune, and as such bears a lot more resemblance to the big budget Hollywood film. However, you're correct in thinking that critics responded to the more artsily pretentious aspects of it, even though the art is less than skin deep here. They're TV critics, assigned to watching network primetime, and they cling to even the faintest semblance of anything that doesn't look like it was conceived by committee.
Kid Nation is absolutely horrendous. It's amazing that these kids are bigots at such a young age. And can I say something it is totally scripted. No 11 year old would chose a bible over a mini golf course.
Kid Nation is the chink in CBS' armor. It oughtta get the green weenie soon.
I really wanted to see GG do better, but the quality doesn't appear to be there, and not even the CW's franchise player, ANTM, with its record viewership, could boost its numbers. A great lead-in will boost a poor lead-out only so many times.

It's completely tanking each week in the ratings and at this rate, will fall under 8 mil next week. It needs to stabilize or it will be cancelled. For all the talks of Big Shots bombing, this is doing even worse.
Dirty Sexy Money has a lot of potential...they should move it post-Grey's since Big Shots will have the same fate as 6 Degrees. Big Shots is still doing worse. Its retention is much worse than DSM.
Judging by the Pilot (and someone who didn't just view it in between commercials), it's not an art house show. It is more like something normally seen on the USA Network, but with a bigger budget. I also don't get the fuss over it, but it is a decent show, but nothing AMAZING!!! But nothing AWFUL either that doesn't deserve to be watched at least once.

I couldn't imagine watching a whole episode of PD...
I guess the ITUNES sales must be really good because CW is obviously pleased with GG at the moment.
Because it got a pick-up? That doesn't mean they're all that pleased--you have to realize that their options are very limited, and they just don't have anything to replace GoGi with.
If they have to pick up a show, they'd be better off doing it sooner, rather than later. It provides the show a bit of free publicity, and makes it seem like they know what they're doing. Even though it's CW, and they obviously don't.

The amazing thing about Pushing Daisies is that it is so much different from anything on network TV right now. But I have to go with those previous posters: the show will lose steam in the upcoming weeks. ABC should move it. It could go post-Private Practice with Dirty Sexy Money moving post-Grey's.
Since everything was so delayed last night, could DSM/Life have been affected by low sample reporting? Meaning there were just an unusually small number of people in the panel? It just seems like a steep drop for both in the 3rd week, and I wonder if there are some factors we are not considering in total here.
Ouch... bigger than I expected drop for Pushing Daisies. Next week is crucial. It either stabilizes or it's in big trouble.
Go Private Practice! Last night was the first episode I really liked. I expect a full season order very soon.
Yikes at DSM. Can't believe it dropped again with the lead-in the same, but Big Shots is doing far far worse so I don't think this show is in too much short-term danger. It's demos are very good also.
WOW at DOND... very good numbers. BW and Life are just meh.
