Life (Viewers: 8.14 million; A18-49: 2.8/ 8),

Life is less dramatic than DSM. It had a good size drop in week 2, but more stable in week 3. only about 500K drop in viewers from week 2 to 3

I think that GG is gonna grow into the 3 million viewers range some day - still not very good.

Marc, do you know when Live+3 data will finally be available?

Hi Marc new reader here,
This is what you wrote last week about Top Model "And America’s Next Top Model (which is dependent on the female viewers, of course) has also lost steam, with year-to-year erosion of 730,000 viewers and 15 percent among adults 18-49."

I guess it picked up steam this week. Nice to prove you wrong and great to see a returning reality show doing well (for CW levels).

DSM is losing about 800K viewers each week, but about only .1 in the demo each week.

not worried about the 10PM shows until the DVR #s come out....

PDs next week is huge... 20% is a big dropoff so next week will see if it's stable or still leaking...

As some others have pointed out PDs seems to be this years Ugly Betty.. and like Betty perhaps the quirkier it gets the less people will tune in...

I thought GG got around 2.80 last week, and 2.87 this week. So, the numbers basically stayed the same.

Sorry to see KID NATION beat again by PUSHING DAISIES. I tuned into PD during commerical breaks to see what the fuss was about.

It was horribly pretentious. Now I know why critics embraced it...they love to praise anything not main stream. They'll love a foreign subtitled flick about Bosnian genocide over a big budget alien invation movie. Same goes for PD...since its "outside the box"

I couldn't imagine watching a whole episode of PD...

Top Model got the highest ratings of the season so far because it was the makeover show, which in my opinion is the best episode. I'm actually really enjoying Private Practice so I'm glad to see it's doing well.

DSM is an improvement over the Nine which was freefalling with a bigger lead-in. I hope ABC is patient with DSM and lets it gell. It is a fun show that I adoring. Also Daisies did what I expected but the big winner is Private Practice. Seems it has stablized now well. The show is getting better then it was.

Big Shots is still doing worse. Its retention is much worse than DSM.

Why wouldn't Back To You not be in the losers circle if it posted similar numbers to Kid Nation? What am I missing here? I thought Marc had a CBS bias.

Although almost no one here (or for that matter elsewhere) talks about CM it does extremely well for a second season in a row. Well done.
PD will fall much much quicker than UB. Just as i said this show has nowhere to go with its premise. Look for 8 million viewers in a couple of weeks from now.
BW will remain at 9-10 million so not bad but not extremely good either

The numbers stayed the same but ANTM's viewership increased by almost 750K. GG didn't take advantage of any of the new viewers.

All the 10PM shows on each and every night of the week are the real question marks of the season. None of the numbers can really be taken with anything but a grain of salt until we find out how DVR's affected those shows. Even some 10PM shows that seem to be failing hard need to wait it out. Should be interesting...
