It is ok not to like a show, but this is one of those cases where the detractors largely sound like a herd of lemmings thinking that not liking the show is the 'in' thing to do.

It's okay to like a show, but this is one of those cases where the fans largely sound like a herd of lemmings (even though there's no such thing as a 'herd' of lemmings, and that whole thing about lemmings flocking together and jumping off cliffs is a myth, and the lemmings will be around long after Humankind has offed itself), thinking that liking the show is the 'in' thing to do, even though it obviously isn't, but most people don't have the heart to tell them they're a bunch of nerds and everyone is laughing at them. anyways here are my thursdays predictions:

UB - 10.5
GA - 18.5
BS - 9.5

CBS:
Surv - 13.0
CSI - 19.5
WAT - 13.5

Your ABC Numbers seem a bit optimistic, while down on CBS.

UB was under 10 million last week, dropping about 1 million from the previous week.

Big Shots going UP in viewers??? Don't see it happening. Especially by 1.3 million

Survivor is a consistant 14 million viewer program. No reason to believe it will drop a million now.

Another drop for CSI while Greys remains steady?

Not the WAT, that could happen. It has baffeled me, the performance in the ratings this show has gotten so far this season.

What do you like on TV? It seems like you don't like enough shows to make a top 10 list!

You've heard of cable, right?

You've also heard of 'turning off the TV when there's nothing good on, and going outside, or reading a book', right?

Noticed that after last week's show. Discussed it with friends and they noticed the same. To be honest, I like it better because of that.

Is this a fancy way to state that Private Practice has less plot development? Wink

Actually, its enjoyable to watch. Some shows make an hour feel like a day (last seasons Gilmore Girls was one).

I can almost hear it like a whisper in the wind....'billboards'.

Oh, and don't forget--"The promotion was terrible. How could anyone even know the show was on? My friend's parents have never even heard of it."

The classics. Some people are just devoted to keeping them alive for each generation.

Yeah but for a person who likes going out or reading a book when there's nnothing on TV you spend really a lot of time on a Cooltelevision forum.

The rising tide of opposition to a show I hate, from people I've argued with about other shows in the past?

Already here, man.

True--but I'm expected to stay at my desk during the workday. I can't watch TV, or read a book. I can do this. And I do it so much better than you.

They have. They just don't want me to leave. And neither do you. Isn't that Obveeus?

I just dont remember last week's ratings so my rating maybe a bit off, but I think greys is gonna be steady since it has had a creative uplift the past 2 episodes, while this season of CSI is not so good(I am still mad they didnt kill Sara
