I can almost hear it like a whisper in the wind....'billboards'.

I dont know know whats wrong with people on this board, they beg for something different, but when they finally get it, its suddenly too different, anyways love the show, its fantastic.
The funny thing is that the people complaining about the show say almost the same thing (too sweet, too cute). They are saying this about a show full of dead bodies, murders, and characters with major mental/personality flaws.
It is ok not to like a show, but this is one of those cases where the detractors largely sound like a herd of lemmings thinking that not liking the show is the 'in' thing to do.
Pushing Daisies didn't drop much more then any series.
You do realize some shows actually go UP after they premiere, right? And PD didn't start as high in the ratings as some other shows, either.

And despite how it may appear, PD fans actually enjoy PD.
So what you're saying is that people who consider themselves fans of a TV show actually have a positive opinion of it?
Hmmm.
You may have a point there.

The ratings drop wasn't that sharp.
Dude. Three million viewers in one week with the network pouring on the promotion, and the competition not exactly overwhelming is pretty damn sharp.

All shows this year dropped
Yes, and that's because they're BAD SHOWS.

and considering that so many people gave it a second chance, I'd say it could've been worse.
You mean in the sense that it could have gotten a 0.0 HH rating on one of the Big Three Networks? Again, good point.
It seems that Pisher's sole purpose on this forum is to diss Pushing Daisies, and I can comprehend if he dislikes a show, but to attack anyone who shows a slight interest in a show he doesnt like is very sad, and now after I post this message, he will give childish excuses why I am wrong and he is right by dividing my post and commenting on each part, anyways it is an excellent show, and I really hope it survives

You do know that the last set of DVR numbers that came out had Survivor at #1, right?

Exactly! its like everyone is using the same excuse, and the excuse is not remotely relevant, especially in PD's subject matter
Yes, it is known, but it is still the LAST SET of DVR numbers available, as was stated.

Yeah, I probably will, its just that everytime he posts a response, he sounds more childish than the last time, he should just respect everyone's opinion and to not think that his opinion is the only one that matters
Well, in my defense, I don't give a rat's arse what anyone else thinks... I just thought last night's episode stunk of shoddy plotting, lazy (if specific) narration exposition, and it went too far with the sweet/cutesy (something the pilot, I felt, had just the right amount of and really made for a nice, whimsical fantasy... even with the dead bodies and murderers, etc).
It's a hard balance to achieve, and the second episode failed to achieve it.
