Nice debut with 100% retention A 18-49. As for the show itself, I really enjoyed it.
I didn't care for it, but almost everyone else who posted on it did. So, a tip of the cap for these ratings, and I'll just have to agree to disagree with the highly esteemed membership of this forum

Haha. Well, I guess if everyone liked it, it would be the Super Bowl.

Originally posted by mushu_jj: Earlier this year, HIMYM was doing stronger than Christine at 8pm. At that time I would've said that HIMYM was stronger, but now its at least a draw. Christine has reversed the numbers and now appears to be the stronger show.
You are talking about small differences, but you might consider this: more people saw HIMYM in firstrun, so slightly less people will 'need' to catch it in rerun. Less people saw TNAoOC in first run so slightly more people will 'need' to catch it in rerun.
I don't know why anyone would say "need". There are more than enough ways to catch programs during the regular season (online, VCR, DVR). I think perhaps the Christine audience just likes to watch repeats a bit more. Nevertheless, I'd love to see HIMYM first run numbers after 2.5 Men if even for one telecast. I think it would probably pull the worst in terms of retention of any program behind it yet. HIMYM seems to have a much more cult like following to it than anything and in all honesty, seems more like something that would be huge on NBC or Fox. The same problem could happen to Back to You this fall (although I'm hoping differently!).
Anyway, on to the next anticipated cable premiere, DAMAGES. While a bit starchy at times and dragging a bit, count me in for ep # 2 and probably then some.
While I'm not quite as big on it as a few of the reviews I read, the hook for me is that it has the duplicity of an espionage series. It will be interesting to see how these writers parcel this story out over the 13 episodes. Their network counterparts often have a devil of a time handling the give and take of this type of intrigue.

I may actually DVR it from the My Network TV broadcast.

Thanks - just a note though that the Pilot on FX shows on my DVR as running for 1:14. I am thinking that some scenes will be cut on the MNTV version.
