TRAVIS: any idea why the Sunday finals you posted differ from the ones at Sitcoms Online?

You'd have to point me in the direction of the web page you're looking at.

It's this one--

http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=215736

However, I know quite well that there are often several different versions of the same #'s, and in any event, it's just an ESTIMATE of the audience. It's never EXACTLY what Ma Nielsen or any of her acolytes say it is.

Travis - there are some big differences between your reporting and the other one over here:

http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=215736

The FOX numbers are much lower over there

You should be asking the folks at Sitcoms Online why their finals don't match those posted by Travis, USAToday and Zap2it.

I used to watch the Dead Zone, but lets be honest here...the longer the show went on, the worse it got. And I watched The 4400 on and off, it was on for what 3 or 4 seasons, so I think it had a good run.

Peace!!

I've been watching "Duel." It's a fairly good game show--you have to have some brains to play it. A lot more, say, than selecting briefcases.

I gave up on Dead Zone awhile back. I thought they had an interesting ongoing storyline with the politician who was eventually going to cause the earth's destruction (an interesting character as well), but they never moved on with that and then that whole storyline disappeared for month's at a time. I got a bit disenchanted with that and never rejoined when the show returned the past 2 years.

And they have posted their weekly for last week which do match-up to Travis' numbers - as do the finals at USA Today.

Edited to add: The Medialife Magazine site is also reporting the same numbers as the majority here.

Here is the same list again ordered by the dropoff from their lead-in.
Note that 3 of the 4 shows with no lead-in air head-to-head on Wednesday night.
Also, I added 'Samantha Who?' to the list.
6 of the Top8 should be cancelled, with Private Practice a clear success (when not in rerun) and Crowned a likely 7th (but still a bit early to tell with only 1 episode aired and people knowing that they would have multiple chances to watch it).
