No, Jim ended at 10PM.
The positives for BL are definitely the 10:30 build, and the massive build from ATJ.

The negatives are the low viewers and demo.

Not sure how to classify the show this week...as a loser or just leave it off any column? Odd.

i would not clasify BL's jump from JIM as "massive"

No? I would say a jump from 4.4 million to 7.4 and a 1.5 to a 2.0 to be more than just a "decent size" jump.

And I completely overlooked The Biggest Loser finale. That most definitely had something to do with it. Methinks BL was DVR'd even more than usual.

i agree with decent sized jump, but thinking its dvr'd more does not make it fact.

I don't blame them for not airing new episodes this week, but the fact they had scheduled new episodes (before pulling them Monday) and are still airing ads for the now-postponed episodes is a bit confusing to people who don't check schedules online.

Oh, I am not saying for sure, fact it was highly DVR'd for later viewing. Just saying, IMO, it might be due to people watching TBL finale. That's all.

That Boston Legal jump at the half hour was viewers flipping over late and thinking "Oh crap, it's an original!" Bad call on ABC's part to air an original last night. What a pathetic week they've had.

The bad call was airing a Jim repeat in between a 90 minute Duel and a new BL. Maybe Duel is not a smash hit, but it is doing OK and to ruin all the momentum after it airing a repeat of a show that does horrible with new episodes was a big mistake.

9:30 NBC 7.6/12 4.9/13 12,239,000

10:30 NBC 7.2/12 4.7/13 11,230,000

Biggest Loser started to fade towards the 'big finish'. How many reality TV shows do that? I'm guessing that maybe people were more interested in the contestants that were sent home than the ones that made it to the end?

Meanwhile, Crowned still managed over a million viewers in its 3rd airing of the last 7 days. That number for Crowned is probably as high as a B&tG rerun would have pulled in.

TRAVIS: any idea why the Sunday finals you posted differ from the ones at Sitcoms Online?

It is their right, and I think it's a good idea. But Robert has criticized ABC for doing the same thing, so I was just pointing out that he should be criticizing both. Smiler

Also, CBS's tactic was arguably more devious, since they had the originals on the sked until the last minute.

In BL's and stuff defense, it's the hollidays and everything is in repeats or replaced by crappy reality shows. Ratings are meaningless until the strike ends.

I think you got this one right Al.

AtJ should have been on at 8pm, followed by Duel, then BL.

I wouldn't say it was more devious. Nets do this often, but its that ABC does it regularly

True, but with going from DWTS as a lead-in to a rerun of ATJ (and who would sit through that twice), this does not surprise me.

Just for fun, what is everyone's picks for Winners and Losers?

Winners
NCIS (R)
The Unit
Biggest Loser
House (R)

Honorable Mention
Bones (R)

Did poor, but not a loser
Boston Legal

Losers
Cane

Duel, and Clash both do decent so they aren't losers, but they aren't winners either. Notably Clash did better in increasing it's viewership in the second half hour.
