I think so vlis -- the last 3 weeks have been fairly steady. But I think they are going to want to see how it performs with repeats of Grey's as the lead-in. I expect it to keep at least 6 million and a 2.0 in the demo. It would be unrealistic to expect it to keep all these viewers with the lower lead-in. These numbers to me are good enough -- I don't know if the lower numbers would be -- hopefully it will surprise me and keep more of these viewers when LOST goes on hiatus. I really enjoy this show, and hope it does get renewed, even if to be used as a midseason replacement again next season.

ES hasn't stabilized--it's just bleeding to death a bit more slowly.

I'll give ES this, it is loosing viewers at a much slower rate than the new ABC shows in the fall. I doubt it will hold these numbers behind GA reruns, but aside from their hits (GA, DH, EM:HE, DWTS, Lost) few of ABC's shows can hold good numbers without their lead-ins. If ABC decides that 7 million viewers is enough (and they renewed DSM with fewer), they may renew it even if it drops without a lead-in. Of course, it depends on what they have in development too.

I could see ES coming back once--after all, so did What About Brian. But it's got a very limited future. There's just not much of an audience for it. And it would be up against much tougher competition next time.

And also it sucks. Let's not forget that.

ES is certinly more renwal worthy than DSM
