I was commenting on viewership levels for Heroes vs. other NBC shows. All of the shows I mentioned beat Heroes in the viewership. This data is demos and unrelated to the topic at hand. Demos are different than viewership. Please refer to the total number of viewers information for clarification.
Besides, if we are looking at demos, others are right that Heroes will slide in the Spring. It will be in the low 3s before May, possibly more.

Does anyone know how many episodes of Rules of Engagement were ordered? I thought it was 22, but it seems like it's getting too late to do 22 episodes so maybe it was only 13.
I am not positive, but I am pretty certain it is 13 episodes. The other shows all have their 14-16 episodes scheduled to shoot in January, but ROE only has shooting dates announced through December, so I take it to mean they only have a 13 episode order.

It was originally a 22 episode order. I don't know if they cut it or not.

Oh yeah. Married with Children. That was indeed the high water mark of TV comedy.
Yes it was indeed. I can't think of any sitcom in the last decade at least 10% as good as MWC. Maybe BBT manages to do something about it
Amen.
The only show that came even remotely close was the Married W/ Children spin-off, Unhappily Ever After.
Since then there has not been one sitcom where you could literally laugh during every minute of the show.

You don't consider The Office a sitcom?
I have to say that the Office is the most over-rated sitcom on television and Steve Carrell is just not funny.

If only your grammar was the worst problem....
Yeah, I know. I somehow managed to not be brain-washed by the constant liberal rhetoric that I was exposed to from the age of 10 because I grew up in the Northeast. The horror of family values and thinking for yourself and not being a blind sheep...
I know, we need to waste more money on failing schools who instead of teaching have made it their purpose to spout liberal beliefs.

I asked if you were INSANE--as anyone who thinks MWC was remotely in the same league as Seinfeld would have to be.
Actually, I think they were in the same league, and Married W/ Children might have been funnier.
But, I think most people dont feel that way because MWC offended a lot of a people.

Can't now, because nobody's showing it.
It's on Spike, or whatever that channel is called.
I cringe to say it, but I think WW may be here a lot longer than most of us would like. It did improve a little this week, and I think CBS is hoping once DWTS leaves, and SW loses a big chunk of their audience with the lesser lead in then WW will pick up more. That is a very uncompetitive 9:30 time slot now with the weak SW,PB going down, and Heroes dying a slow death. I know 24 may provide competition later on, but right now that time slot is very, very week, so I think WW stays by default.

I think your wrong about that. Look at this schedule. It looks like Rules is schedule to shut down on 12/16, while the others tape 14-16 in January (Gary has not scheduled yet, because it just got its full season order). See here :

OMG! Unhappily Ever After was one of the all time worst shows of all time. Even Caveman was less painful to sit through. (But don't tell Dumont that, he'll take it as a testimonial and send it to ABC.)
